    That’s interesting you said that about Alicent and Rhaenyra because in the book they did not have much of a friendship at all and in fact the show played it up to raise the stakes. I know some people haven’t been crazy about the time jumps and lack of character development (which I don’t think is entirely the case) but we are just getting to the main event of the story which is a Targaryen civil war.

    The wife and I are 6 episodes in. The show is great and Peters does a fantastic job but man it is twisted. I definitely recommend it!

    I think around Season 6 is where they start to get ahead of the books and it begins to get clunky in spots. Still great up until S8, then weeellllll…..

    Watched the first two eps last night. Like others have said, it’s slow. But the production level is high and so far it’s intriguing. This is not a complaint but I kept forgetting I was watching Star Wars. Anyone else?

    Finished last night. Great season! And yup pretty sad ending although they didn’t do what I was afraid they would do

    So glad they released a second season and are going to do a third! This show is a lot of fun but man it can be rough in parts. I still have 2 or 3 episodes to finish in S2, trying to space it out instead of finishing it off quickly.

    Finished season 5 last night. This show is so dumb and so cheesy but man it works. The writing is excellent and the cast just pulls it off. Even with some fairly ridiculous fight scenes and scenarios the show is very entertaining. Best season yet imo.
