    I’ve been listening to a few fighter pilot podcasts the last couple of weeks. According to some of the pilots involved with making the film, they needed to use the f-18 so they could actually put actors in the backseat and get it on camera. But in a real-world scenario they would have used 5th gen aircraft.

    They de-aged his voice from what I understand. I believe he’s pushing 90 years old (dang!) so he is getting a digital assist but it’s awesome that he’s involved.

    I really liked the flash back scenes. Anakin is clearly the superior swordsman and his attacks are brutal and you can see the concern on Obi-Wan’s face that if he doesn’t successfully defend himself, Anakin will surely kill him. Or at the very least, we are not 100% certain he won’t. We already know the outcome but they manage to bring tension to this duel.

    It’s definitely worth a watch and the third episode is a lot of fun. At least check that one out if you skip the show.

    Probably my second most anticipated movie this summer next to Top Gun. This is the original trailer, a newer one just dropped but I think it gives too much away and I would have preferred to not have seen it so I won’t post it.

    I would say it’s closer to being able to ride a bike. I could definitely take 10 years off and then jump on again and ride without missing a beat. I think they took it a little farther than they needed to with him being “out of shape” with the Force.

    Haha me too! I’m just hoping it ends up being decent. Just tell a straight forward story about being hunted by one. Easy!

    Let’s not forget how Dutch defeated the first Predator. The only tools he had were his knife and gunpowder from the last 2 rounds off his grenade launcher. Hopefully the writing is good enough to make it plausible.
