There was a Scarlet Spider book that heated up a couple of years ago for the same reason. (SS 20?)

Anyone been selling the darth vader 3 variants? With the regular cover selling A LOT today, I would think the variant would be selling as well...unless theres a "secret".....something along the lines of "Trade 20 DV3 regular covers for 1 Variant of ______ "

The variant has been selling steadily since release, it dropped to a low of $25 for 2 days before jumping back to $40. I think people underestimate the star wars collectors out there, everything star wars will keep going crazy the closer we get to the movie. If the movie is close to as good as the trailer is, it's gonna be like 77 all over again.

The thing is, why would give him his own comic if he wasn't going to be in a movie? They give books to vader, leia, lando... and random guy no one has heard about? Smells like a plant to me

I was thinking that too. What a great opportunity to show the back story of where some of the characters started out and then they show up in TWD the next season. I'm not sure if an origin show works for current characters, but introducing villains in fear before they are on the main show sounds pretty sweet.
