    All 9.4's :baiting:

In reality, I've only submitted 3 of these to CGC. One 9.8, one 9.6 and one 9.4 - no pressing.

I would think now is the best time to unload that truck so to speak.

I agree with you completely. You'll see a batch of these on eBay shortly. (thumbs u

    I just listed 20 NM+ 9.6/9.8 copies of X-Men #244 on eBay - 6 3-day auctions, 6 5-day auctions and 8 7-day auctions all starting at $9.95. We'll see what happens. :wishluck:

    Yeppers.

I would have started way slower than that, but then again, I never sell, so my method may be off...

If I sell all of those 20 (which I believe I will), I still have about 30-35 NM+ copies left - many of which will find their way to CGC. I'm not the least bit concerned about flooding the market (although I thought Chadwick's Flood sign was funny as hell). lol

lol not trying to bust balls glwts bud

Btw anyone looking for a Mark Jewelers copy?

  3. She's not a SIDEKICK...he needs her help...it's not like the Skipper & Gilligan.

So... what you're saying is she probably has little to nothing to do with Vader once this story arc is over? Is she a Jedi, Sith, or a bounty hunter with a cool costume? What is her appeal?

Would really like to hear from someone that actually read this thing - I still see no appeal here, but while people are buying them up on eBay, I don't blame you guys for selling them.

Gotta wonder why people are paying what they're paying, no one here has said anything even slightly compelling with regards to this book - as close as it got is Larry's "3 new characters connected to Vader", which is a pretty poor explanation for a $15 book day of release.

I read it, I think she's like a female Han Solo...she may even be undercover working for the good guys.

She's a female space Indiana Jones.

    Totally got that vibe too

  4. I would prefer that the story and art remain fantastic than them pushing them out every month. There are plenty of classics that took large breaks between issues. I haven't heard a single person say they were dropping the title because of the release schedule, if anything it's making them want it even more.

Anyway, I can't wait to see the overlook riverdale high

  5. I only used the phantom cover as an example because of the amount of pre-sales and where it sits in the market now. I guess it didn't hit the $75 I thought it did, my mistake. It wasn't a jab at it or anything, I always loved the cover and bought my copies around the 3rd sell out. Homage covers are a big part of my collection. And I still stand by my statement that a lot of the SG variants will drop to a point that I'm more comfortable buying the covers I want in my collection.

    You're barely articulate.

    As am I.

    Sleep tight sweet insufficiently_thoughtful_person...

    I can blame the whiskey

  7. I'll be picking up some covers when the prices hit the floor, they really are sweet looking but there's no way I'm buying anything right now. I got SG#2 1:25 yesterday from my lcs(thankfully some places aren't asking so much), it really is a beautiful cover.

when do you think the SG prices will crash and hit the floor.

Most variants bottom out pretty quick, the phantom is down to about a third of what it was pre-selling for. It's hard to say what the floor will ultimately be, but patience pays.

Phantom started pre-selling online for $5.99-$10

It's down to a third of that!?

    Really.

    It's a third of the pre-sale ceiling.
