Not a big fan. He had a book $1600 or best price. I offered him 1550. Turned me down with no counter. The book is not worth it. The next day he upped the price of the comic to $2000

I think a badly scratched case would bring down the value on a resale since the new owner would possibly like to put it in a clean holder

I was watching an amazing Spider-Man #9 cgc 8.5. It finally sold for 3k. It is a new univocal slab with the spicy picture and everything. If you read the front of the slab it says small amount of color touch and corner top trimmed. It has a unversal slab. How does a silver age book get a universal slab if it has restoration. I understand golden age but now silver age? Very confused the cert # is 2331335006

Golden age book with slight color touch can still receive a blue label. It is more desirable for a golden age book to be completely clean i.e. No tape no slight color touch those book will generally sell for a premium to one that has some notations

Invest in avengers 4 high grade first app of silver age captain America. Selling a lot less than ff 4 first silver age appearance of my fav subby
