So whats the take on this oddity, admittedly the first time I've heard of, or seen before...
The 9.6 I sold last month looks like a steal compared to this one. $900 for CGC 9.8. WOW!!
Highly overpriced IMHO for this particular issue even if it is a 9.8. I saw the 9.6 on ebay a few weeks ago that sold for about 50 or 60. That seemed like a very fair price.
I also saw what was listed as a silver edition on ebay a couple of days ago and then seller took the listing off. I cant find it now but did anyone see it and can someone verify if it was an actual silver edition? it looked like a regular turtlemania with siver edition #1 handwritten on the cover

I know the Overstreet Guide has become somewhat irrelevant, but I picked up a copy today and for the third straight year (maybe 4, cant remeber) they fail to assign prices to TMNT 1. This annoys me for some reason.

Assuming they truly are in that condition raw -
9.6s would probably be $20-$25
9.8s would probably be $70-100
Unfortunately 9.6s wont fetch too much since there are so many 9.8s out there.

Other than the #3 which seems to have a bunch of double covers, anyone know of any other issues that have double covers.
By the way, cool double cover #1 TMNTterminator

I think the signed ones you are talking about that get blue labels are ones with the signatures on the inside cover. There are a lot of those.

I think the six is my favorite silver age cover of all time.

Even with the flash off, the pictures come out terrible. Maybe its the lighting in my house.

The highest graded 7 I owned was a 9.0. I sold it a while back. I know its the "hot" issue but I was never a big fan of that book. There are 2 9.4's for sale, one on Comiclink and One on Pefigree, both in the five figures. (18 and 20 thousand)
By the way: Can anyone tell me how to take a picture of a CGC slabbed book with a digital camera without getting an insane amount of glare. The pictures I tool of some of my books look terrible.

I know how it is...I only sell my books, especially DDs, when I upgrade, but even then it hurts.
I did recently get one of my holy grails Daredevil 8 CGC 9.6 with white pages. (still looking for the 6 though). I'll post it when I get my camera back from my friend.

Does anyone actually have a legit copy of the silver or gold edition they can post?
