  1. I think 4.5 is a good guess. Love the comic. Don't own it but had the Treasury Size "Batman's Strangest Cases" as a kid!
  2. $25 purchase so probably in line. No harm, no foul. (Should've caught the rust stain... lol)

    C2E2 2024?

    All good. Going on Friday.
  4. Yeah, I originally thought 8.0 but that rust stain tripped me up. Wasn’t expensive
  5. Thanks. I thought 7.0 when I bought it. If it’s a 6.0 it still looks great for $85
  6. Conan The Barbarian - John Buscema - BWS by the "teens" - not his "Kirby-esque" of early issues Swamp Thing - Berni Wrightson nuff said

    C2E2 2024?

Thought there would be a post started? Was planning on going Saturday but see it's Sold Out online. Not sure I've ever seen that or if they keep Day Of Show tickets available? May try and drive early on Friday now. Anyone else going?
  8. 6.0. The bottom RH corner is what keeps it there for me. Pretty nice overall
  9. That is not a bad copy! When I got back into collecting 30 years ago, this was the one I bought. I have a VG which I bought for $30. I was 28 and had more cash than my teenage self... My earliest JLA prior to this was #15. I now have all of them which makes me happy.
  10. 9.0 due to the spine. Still nice!
  11. Nice book! I'd say 6.0 is safe, maybe 6.5?
  12. Another one that was a great price I couldn't resist. I have thoughts on grade but it's nice to get a 2nd opinion...
  13. Found this for a great price so I couldn't go wrong. I have a sense of what it is but am thinking I'm too harsh...
  14. Just got the Micronauts Marvel Omnibus. Even though I have the issues from way back, decided I wanted to read them again after 45 years... Relive my 13 year old self...
  15. Timely conversation with you this week! Bob and I had a brief conversation around this exact topic on Tuesday. I'm going to bring some books to C2E2 for Bob to look at for trade. Flip side of this is on the seller and how much time and effort it's worth. For me, at this stage in life, time is more valuable. Note: I have no intention of selling my collection anytime soon (measured in years) but I do want to clear out under copies. For years I've said I would post them here... Clearly unsuccessful getting around to that.
  16. The comic that started me collecting! Nostalgia for me as I have three copies now with one graded.
  17. I was never a big Miller fan, but did like his Daredevil run and I thought he started to slip with Dark Knight Returns. But the story compensated greatly. Where I always felt his talent laid was in the layout. Very creative.
  18. 58 in the year of our Lord, 2024...
  19. I used to have to go to a plant in Duncanville (about 10 years ago) and drove right by that store! Should've stopped in but usually was tied up work-wise or heading back to airport.
  20. Hope you feel better! At least you acknowledged the prizes and thanked the sender! For those that don't, it's not that hard to send a simple "Thanks" via messages if you can't post pictures. Afterall, you chose the prizes you wanted.
  21. I bought from them a few times years ago and had similar experiences. Over-graded, poor customer service communication, website is hard to navigate. Every now and then I check them out thinking maybe it's a better site.
