they are too, too thin an unwieldy.  The flaps don't tuck in well, and if you tape/flag them down, the corners are all over the place.  Never ship in them, because they usually split and burst, and the books fly all over.

I never save these when I receive books in them that have survived shipping - they go straight to the trash.

I wasn’t clear in my post. I didn’t add 2 to the Mylites. Lol I only buy the Mylite2’s.

Just because I have 2 LCS one uses Mylar the other polybag...

I can't really tell which is better. Mylar tends to hide imperfections...

    Ah I see, thanks

I’m a recent convert as well. Been slowly converting to Mylites and their backers. I was influenced by Greggy. Seriously. I won his Holiday Raffle and all the DC 100 Pagers were in the Mylites. Got me looking at some older poly bags and saw how mine were rippling and yellowing. Not cheap to do but I’m down to the $15 or more valued books. Probably never get to the moderns or sub-$5 books.

  3. DC Comics Presents complete as I finally found #87 in great shape. Not a big series though some interesting books. More nostalgia than anything as this series started right as I got the collecting bug. Below is my #1 bought at the local drug store. I've since upgraded with a CGC version. Lot's of memories buying these though I stopped in the #40's. One distinct memory was subscribing back in the late 70's and getting the books in a simple brown wrapper. I remember taking the DCP #7 with me to my grandparent's house in South Carolina where they had retired to. My grandfather, thinking that comics were disposable, folded it cleanly in half. I had left it near a table and he was making room. LOL

Still have about 3 I'd like to upgrade. Hardest part is finding them because they are just $5 to $10 books.

    Thanks for letting me share!

I'll go 8.0-ish as it is only because of the back wrinkles. Looks like they could be pressed out though and could be a 9-9.4. Great looking book!

Looking in OSPG, I can't figure out what the 1/4" back cover tear does? Hard to see in picture. I was thinking an 8.0 when I saw it but not sure if the tear drops it all the way down to a 4.0? Front cover's really clean and sharp

  5. Stumbled across these 3 last week. $20 for all 3. The Flash 218 caught my eye for it's appeal even though I already own one. (It's in the PGM section as I need some experts here to help me with one defect on the back cover.) The What If I remembered as a kid on the newsstand. Since I have the entire Conan run, I thought "why not". The Flash 225 is the shocker. It's at least a 9.4 and I bought it even though it's not on my list but love the Reverse Flash. Little did I know that the book has jumped considerably.

  6. So, I found this last week and couldn't pass on the price. I already own a nice copy. One thing I struggle with in grading is how the back cover effects the overall grade. Specifically, there is just under a 1/4" tear on the lower, left side back cover (next to where it says "Engine Up". ) Not sure if this plummets the book in grade. That said, I took a flyer due to the overall price and I'm not really out much.

    Thanks!
