20 of the first 100

The value is more curiosity. I can count on one hand the amount of times I've sold a comic (much to my wife's consternation... )

So, it's amazing the little comic things that entertain me... I bought ASM#200 for my nephew's birthday. Looked like a 9.0/9.2 in the bag and it was only $9. I got home, removed it from the bag and what do I discover? It has 2 covers. And this is the first time in almost 40 years of collecting I ever stumbled across a double cover. The outer cover is completely loose with no staple marks. (Light is reflecting off a bit in picture.)
Assuming it's worth the normal 9.2?

Agreed I always thought HOS92 was way over priced. Swamp thing is not a super huge character. It is kind of scarce, but so are most DC silver age books, and when compared in price to there SA DC, its honestly pretty ridiculous.
As much as I love Wrightson Swamp Thing, HOS92 does seem like it's jumped up a lot in recent years. That said, I still need to get it...

ASM129 feels overpriced to me at the moment. They’re everywhere you turn!
I had a VG 4.0 as a young teen. Found it at a friend of my parent's house and they said I could keep it. This was 1980. Got rid of it in 1986 during college. Hindsight being 2020....

Agreed, and I'd add that Moon Knight's first appearance is also way overpriced at the moment across all grades. There's a lot of baked in movie/TV speculation at the current asking prices for something that hasn't been announced or even hinted at by Feige and crew..
Always felt Moon Knights popularity was based on a cool look and perception that greatness would come. It's been that way for decades.

I don't have any pictures but my first LCS was the originally named "The Comic Shop" in Toledo, OH. I think it was circa 1979 over on Hill Rd. (Later became JC's Comic Stop, who bought the inventory.)
I'd love to experience that "wonder" of my 13 year old self when I could convince my mom to drive me there. I'd scrap up $5 to $10 and dream about owning thousands of comics when I got older... (40 years later, I have plenty. lol) I didn't make lists originally, so I bought what I thought was cool. I remember buying JLA #61, Detective #294, and others on my first visit. I still have both though the JLA has been upgraded from the $1 version I bought in VG back then. Another I still own is Cap #100. The owner had a sale and marked it down from $10 to $2. It's a nice looking F 6.0 and I still have it. Thought I was something owning that...

Yes, Spencer Beck sells signed prints for George. He has two gorgeous Wonder Woman prints, a New Teen Titans print, and a killer Thanos/Infinity Gauntlet print, and possibly more.
Suggest you reach out to his art rep, Spencer Beck: spencerbck at aol dot com
NTT or Thanos... intriguing!

Does anyone know if he sells prints of his work?

I was fortunate to meet him at Motor City a few years ago and he signed my Crisis TPB. I may try and make C2E2 this year. He was a key artist of my youth. New Teen Titans and Justice League

Definitely not as good as the other mystery boxes, and nothing can compare to a Greggy box, but I tried my best.
Man the PO killed that box.
You did great! I know the feeling though as I doubted mine I gave.

And what awaited me today? The Toro Mystery Box! And, it was heavy...
The vast majority were totally unique to my collection. Highlights for me are the CGC 9.6 Red Sonja (almost complete with that small run), X-Men Heroes for Hope, Iron Man's (first Iron Man in my collection since I got rid of a couple as a teen in the mid-80's), Daredevil's (see Iron Man comments), Spectacular Spiderman, Marvel Masterworks... where do I stop!
A big Thank You to Toro!

I've been converting all my "over $15" books to the Mylite2's and Full Backs/Half Backs for a couple of years now. They look great. Regarding Full Backs vs Half Backs, I agree with Domo Arigato. Space is an issue so the Half Backs come in handy for a lot of books. The other thing that helped me with space was I stopped buying new, modern books in 2015...
Found I was just feeding my completionist curse and not really reading them.
