    The Rock is one of the most money making celebrity right now. From the XFL, acting, commercials, Wrestling,...the man is doing everything. In the same note, so is Kevin Hart. You give them money and they'll do it... ...basically, I'm getting sick of seeing them (and I'm a fan of them both). Their buddy buddy schtick is getting old. Nothing against the movie because the trailer does look funny. I just need a break from them. ***Add Tom Holland to that list

    So I don't understand what change is considered acceptable and what changes aren't (not calling you out specifically...just in general). So his origin is now Aztec/Incan...so what? - Nick Fury is black - Spiderman is played by a bunch of different people (also an animated pig) - Nobody got angry with Fat Thor - etc. I'll be more upset if the movie doesn't do him justice as a character...which I'll wait until I see it. I understand nostalgia and holding onto what we grew up with but I think we need to be more flexible with change (whether we like it or not). ***Multiverse...I'm sure the perfect Namor exists in one of the universes

    Really? When I first saw him I was like "that's Namor"!...it was undeniable. ALSO...I'm glad they didn't go with the hulking muscles chiseled look to differentiate him a lot more from Aquaman. ***I'm just happy that Namor is still recognizable in the movie adaptation

    Since there's a chance that he's coming to the MCU (with the announcement of Secret Wars)... I'm definitively saying (and supporting) Secret Wars #1 is his first appearance. ***Now go run out and get the book

    Whether you like the MCU or not, they stomped on the DCEU during SDCC. Marvel basically locked down everything until 2025. I don't even know how the DCEU will compete after that once the X-Men start up. I'm not a Marvel or DC person...I just am happy to see comic book movies being successful. But if the DCEU isn't going to keep Marvel in check (competition for them to keep striving) it is bad for everybody. They need another Zack Snyder Cut Justice League like movie! ***Can't just keep relying on Batman

    Looks fantastic. I don't even mind the change to Namor's origin/roots. So many things to look forward to... - How the Ironheart armor will look like - How they explain the death of Black Panther - Who will be the future Black Panther - How Namor with impact Aquaman (in terms of fans, if they do, choosing one over the other) ***Visually stunning trailer

    I would love to see Esposito at Professor X also. However, my bigger concern with his age isn't his longevity...it would be with Magneto. I don't want to see a 60+ year old Magneto (since Professor X and Magneto are the the same/close age). ***I'm assuming they have to have Magneto in the MCU

    That book is already way over priced. This isn't going to make it more overpriced. Now it really is looking like an all female cast. ***Plus I think everybody knew she was heading to the big screen

    People need to stop saying the trailer looks awesome. This is a LOTR series. Of course it's going to look awesome!!! Galadriel is my new Daenerys (before the final season)... One gripe...I'm not a fan of Cynthia Addai-Robinson. Her role in Spartacus really turned me off. Obviously, my opinion is pending on how this new role will go. ***Looks awesome

    I stopped watching (more of paused watching) after the first two episodes. So I'm happy to hear these modestly positive reviews. Might have to binge the rest this weekend. ***YouTube kinda spoiled some reveals/revelations from the last episode

    Fair enough. Instead of "saved" I should have said "made lots and lots of money". Nothing in the MCU needs to be saved in the literal sense. Everybody knows that. ***Thor 1 is the best Thor...I do agree with that

    This movie will make enough for them to justify continuing doing what they are doing. We need to see BIG MAJOR flops in multiple MCU movies for them to finally acknowledge what they're doing isn't good. I'm getting tired of being over hyped only to be let down (Moon Knight, Boba Fett, Kenobi, Ms. Marvel...and to an extent Dr. Strange MoM). ***Or hope that the DCEU get their @#$%$ together and give the MCU some competition

    I have more faith in UF4 hitting $10K than ASM300. Not saying it will happen...just saying if I had to make a bet on one or the other. ***Add UXM 129 to that race

    Well this review was a downer. I can handle the MCU comedy thing but I was hoping there'd be less...not more. I don't know who in the movie focus group said "yes, more stupid comedy please". Maybe I'm getting old a losing touch with what people want. ***The Infinity War scene where they were talking about Ben & Jerry Ice Cream during an impending doom...that was my line in the sand.
