  1. Thank you for the response and clarification Polirer. I appreciate it. Happy Thanksgiving All
  2. Hey Polimer, care to answer this question now?
  3. My apologies for the assumption, I saw you write “we” when referring to Bulletproof so I made a guess, my mistake. So what is your role with Bulletproof and Dell’Otto? By the way I’m not on any witch hunt here. I saw “insider info” and figured it couldn’t hurt to ask for proof of a print run because I’ve never seen any for a variant. It isn’t about you or Bulletproof. Print run numbers are just one of those things that’s repeatedly stated yet I’ve never actually seen any proof. That’s all, no reason to ignore my follow up questions or to be defensive. For the numbers on comp and replacement copies it was again just for me and my own curiosity. No big deal.
  4. Where is the pile on? A few of us asked questions to someone who works for Bulletproof and that’s somehow an issue?
  5. I figured as much but any sensitive information can easily be redacted. I respect the decision but if you happen to change your mind it really would be greatly appreciated. Maybe you can answer these questions based off of past orders of 1000 Bulletproof Dell’Otto variants. What’s the average number of comp copies printed over the 1000? What’s the average number of replacement copies printed over the 1000? To be clear, this isn’t for anything other than my own curiosity. I have no stake in this, I just appreciate the information. If you don’t know that’s fine, the worse thing you can say is you don’t know.
  6. Can you show any proof for any the Bulletproof print run numbers? I’m not talking about what Hank tells you either, or however else you obtain the information you have stated as fact in this thread. I can’t be the only one who feels it would be nice to see for once since you are clearly stating to know the information.
  7. You can go on CGC’s homepage and select census to search for the book. It will show you how many copies have been graded and in what grades. It will also differentiate between blue label and yellow label slabs.
  8. I’d suggest sending a message to either Rich_Henn or Kevlar. Both of them are facilitators that are attending the show and more than likely can help you out.

  10. The Nintendo Power variant is an awesome cover, but I agree that $300 for a 9.8 is a bit too pricey. For what it’s worth the staff at the Oni booth informed me that the last two R&M convention blanks Oni has released have had print runs in the ballpark of 1100-1300. I’m not saying the Nintendo Power variant also has a print run of 1000+, just thought it may be of some help to know a few other R&M con variant print runs they have released.
  11. That’s not what I said. I said the sale appearred to be legit after the shills bids I was familiar with were removed. Jay pointed out the other bidders that also bid, and who’s bids were not removed as possible shills. I neither agreed or disagreed with him.
  12. Here goes l***c (53) again... Rick and Morty #1 1:50 variant (2015, Oni Press) Adult Swim Justin Roiland Comic https://outside-affiliatelinksnotallowed.ebay.com/outside-affiliatelinksnotallowed/0/0/0?mpre=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.com%2Fulk%2Fitm%2F352188790783
  13. Thanks Jay, I’ll poke around a bit more. They may just be victims to the shill game and getting outbid, but you never know.
  14. You may not know if it was shills “or just two people wanting an item”...and not paying for them, but I do. They are shills. I reached out to eBay several times and know for a fact that they are shills. It’s been going on for months and they have quite a bit of homework to do before they take action. For what reason are these two people consistently shilling these books for? I have no idea, but they are caught. It’s just a matter of time before they are dealt with by eBay, and very likely exposed here on the boards.
  15. No, my apologies if that was confusing. I was just implying that if the two shills who have continuously shilled copies of this book for months hadn’t of done that, raw copies very well could be in the ballpark of $500 on average right now They have manipulated the market that much. I personally didn’t notice any suspect behavior on that sale once the shills were blocked.
