The box was an used box from a comic store he had bought from, so he didn't have to pay for it. $4 for bubble wrap? I don't believe him, when I sell stuff I always have boxes and bubble wrap at home that came from other shippings, so I just re-use them without making the buyer pay for box and bubble wrap, and he probably does it too. Also, there wasn't much of it inside the package.. I just make the buyer pay for the shipping price. Also I asked for priority shipping for $39, he agreed, and then sent first class, lying once more on the shipping price. He lied multiple times and behaved like a kid. I think I should receive another $3,30. If I do receive that money I'll be satisfied, because I'll get back the amount he shouldn't have taken from me. However, I won't suggest anybody to deal with him if he does get removed from the PL list. Really? Another $3.30 because you are GUESSING that he didn't have to buy bubble wrap??? Maybe he did, you have no idea. Looks like he made restitution to me.

The $40 was a decent offer, again he should have pursued it through the ebay system in a timely manner. Asking for complete replacement at this time seems like a bit much. +1 8 MONTHS! I think you have been more than fair with this guy.

You are too nice. It is the 8 month wait as much as anything that bothers me. Take Walmart for example. They accept returns for just about anything for just about any reason. But even there I think I would get laughed at if I showed up 8 months after the transaction. Even if international shipping was crazy slow (1 month?) he has had 7 months to say something!!!

Oh yeah, and as far as advice goes, in my opinion, the BUYER took the risk of having a book shipped overseas and then waited 8 months to claim it didn't arrive. No refund for him. Just my opinion.

Never, ever ship overseas for one. Like you said, no tracking, that's a major problem. He could be staring at the book right now and you would have no way of knowing. That sucks man.

As usual, you have not even read my post paying attention to what I said. If you feel like you can insult another person, whatever the reason, I have more reasons to defend a burglar (just an example) than I would have to defend you anyway. Is there anyone you Jesus freaks won't defend? So we had racist comments earlier today aimed at Symbiotic, and now this guy comes along with anti-religious comments? Maybe an excuse like this would deserve some consideration if he ONLY dealt in moderns. I don't, so I will assume what you are saying is true. But he repeatedly posts SA and BA books here, and page quality and wrap etc are very important. He then tried to say that it was the same page quality, another lie. Ever heard of the straw that broke the camel's back?

Picked this one up last week from a fellow boardie. It just arrived a couple of days ago and I am loving it, even if it is such a low grade.

I bought a copy of Fantastic Four #5 from Dan. Book was shipped quickly and packaging was very secure. I very nice all-around transaction. I will definitely do business with Dan again!
