  1. That ASM 50 is sweet! Welcome to the cool kids' table. (thumbs u
  2. Brian is awesome. He bought a copy of ASM 1 CGC 2.5 SS Stan Lee off of me and everything went smoothly. Payment was made quickly, and communication was great. I will definitely deal with him again! - Jared
  3. My second upgrade in as many months! I've been trying to get up to a 3.0 for a while. Very happy with this copy and the OW/W page quality
  4. What a beauty! Very nice upgrade SpiderTurtle.
  5. Marc is awesome. He bought a SA Spidey off of me, paid quickly and was a pleasure to deal with. I will definitely do business with him again. - Jared
  6. An exquisite copy! "Spidey Saves the Day" is truly one of my all-time favorites. Great cover, great story.
  7. Nice! Digging the sig. Thanks man! I was very happy to pick this one up. I love that Sig on your DD 1. The guy who sold it to you must be pretty cool.
  8. Wow! That didn't last long! A 9.4 copy of ASM 1 just went up on Pedigree's website and already sold for $115,000! A beautiful book. Here is a scan. Cheap? Just right? Or too much?
  9. Even with the tape on that 3.0...a very impressive price indeed. The 5.5 on Heritage was clearly the nicer copy by far, but this is a very strong performance for a book that actually looks like a 5.5.
  10. Just upgraded some of my silver age keys and need to make some space. If my other listings sell first, this book stays in my collection, which is what I am hoping for. (You can probably tell that I don't actually want to part with it given the outlandish price tag). Thanks for the free advertising though, I guess (thumbs u
  11. I picked this bad boy up in the most recent CC auction. Signed by Lee, Romita and Wein. One of a kind!
  12. Upgraded from my 2.0 to a 2.5 signed by Stan Lee!
  13. I finally broke down and sold off a bunch of books to pay for my grail! This one arrived on Friday, purchased from fellow boardie SpiderTurtle. Very happy to be joining this club, finally...
  14. I bought a copy of Amazing Fantasy 15 from Dat. I had the book in hand less than 48 hours later! Overall a great guy to work with. I highly recommend him and I look forward to working with him again in the future! Jared
  15. It's a very easy place to stop because of the renumbering, I haven't bought anything past #441 for my collection either. I know some people out there will think I am crazy for saying this, but for me there is no point in collecting anything beyond McFarlane's run on ASM. You're crazy for saying that. Is there really anything between 328 and 441 that you need to own? I am not saying there's nothing worth reading, I am saying that in my opinion there's not really anything worth collecting in the last 25 years. Yes, the first appearance of Carnage might be the exception. Still, that leaves the last 23 years. I guess I'm just old school.

  17. Sold Mike a copy of ASM 239 CGC 9.6. He paid right away and let me know as soon as his book arrived. Great to do business with, I highly recommend him! - Jared
  18. Finally added ASM #2 to my collection. Arrived today.
  19. Hey Brian, I think you need to find another one. Here's mine, what do you think? Welcome to the club! Your book is gorgeous
  20. Might as well post this here. I am thinking about upgrading. I have a CGC 3.0 and I am wondering what everyone thinks a reasonable price is for a 4.0 and/or a 5.0 (Blue label). I see a 4.0 on Ebay listed a $925 or best offer. Thoughts?
