  1. Well done SpiderTurtle. I very nice book indeed.
  2. Nice looking 3.5! Congrats!
  3. 31-33, what an amazing story! Great pick up on the 32 in 9.2 Jeff. It looks great. 26 and 27 are amazing too!
  4. Sweet book! One of my all time favorites. I am happy you got a 9.0 or higher!
  5. Very glad you got the .5! Thanks for sharing.
  6. I can only dream of owning a copy this nice. Well done sir!
  7. It was a Hake's auction, not some funny EBay listing, looks perfectly legit to me. Nice price.
  8. Thanks man! It looks like a 2.5 easy, but has a coupon clipped out of the last page (does not affect story) so it got a 1.0 incomplete grade. Yours is a beauty. Maybe someday...
  9. My 10,000th post won't be that awesome! Well done sir, and welcome!
  10. So does anyone know what a CGC .5 or NG (cover less) copy of Amazing Spider-man 1 goes for these days?
  11. I would say that Doc Ock and the Green Goblin are tied as Spidey's top villains historically, while Venom and the Kingpin are both very interesting for their own reasons as well. Here is what I find so interesting about each as he matches up with the Web Slinger: 1) Dr. Octopus is a genius and a mental match for Peter Parker. 2) The Green Goblin is straight-up insane, making him incredibly unpredictable. 3) Venom is a physical match for Spidey, with the distinct advantage of not setting off his spider sense. 4) The Kingpin plays the role of puppet-master, often the driving force behind everything. His influence is wide-spread. My final opinion is that it's hard to beat what the Green Goblin did in killing Gwen. Gun to my head, I say the Goblin wins, but it is fun to discuss!
  12. Haha, that is funny. All of the images I found were from Heritage. Thanks for posting and joining the club!
  13. My preference is a small Sig in pen on the bottom of the first page. Nice book, enjoy it!
  14. Thanks for your posts guys! Jaydogrules, if you will post a pic I will update the club list. I actually did some research of my own last night, looking for ASM 3's and 4's with date stamps to compare to Strange Tales Annual 2's with date stamps. I will post pics of just the date stamps in a minute. What I found supports what was said by *Bronze age fan*, ASM 3 is the 4th appearance and ASM 4 and Strange Tales Annual 2 are tied for 5th. Thanks!
  15. Awesome guys! Thanks for sharing and welcome to the club! (thumbs u List on first page has been updated.
  16. OK, so I am making a request that will hopefully help answer a question I have, and also get some more people into the club (thumbs u Please, anyone out there with copies of ASM 3 that have a date stamp, post them here! I am trying to figure out where Strange Tales Annual 2 falls in order of Spider-Man appearances. OSPG lists it as 4th, but from what I have gathered this is not generally agreed upon and most date stamps I have seen on ASM 3 suggest it hit shelves before Strange Tales Annual 2. Please post them I'd you have them! Thanks! Of course, feel free to post any copies you own for the club as well.
  17. Purchased a copy of ASM 121 from Mike. Book arrived quickly and very well packaged. I would absolutely deal with him again in a heartbeat. Jared
  18. Well I know that there are 2 blue label 1.8's up for auction right now. One on Heritage and one on MyComicShop. Not sure what grade you're looking for, but it's a good starting point!
  19. Very nice 5.0! What a sweet book. Congrats on the upgrade. (thumbs u
