  1. You're arguing with someone who believes his freedom give him the right to walk through a CV-19 pandemic without following rules laid out by governing health organizations and put others at risk. You can't have a logical conversation with someone like that.
  2. Well, he was trying to 'rally the troops' (meaning the general public) to gain public support by comparing CV-19 to actual war time attacks and I understand why. He was begging governors to give him a week of shut down if they wouldn't give a month. The Surgeon General was trying to unite the country, because not everyone is united on fighting the pandemic in tandem.
  3. His brain? I had this made (with @Flee-Marquette 's help) many years ago and we handed it to greggy at a show. I shared it a few months ago in October's selling thread but this is the perfect place to post it again. Those fumes in the background are the choking hazard.
  4. Again, I don't disagree with anything you've said. In fact, I've been telling people all of those same things since it all started. Nobody was talking about Rainbows and Unicorns. I think maybe NWO needed that line, not me.
  5. Every state will be different. It all depends on when they started shutting down. The states that JUST started? They have a couple of months ahead of them. And the hard part will be prevent people from reinfecting, or people moving from states that don't take it seriously to states that DO take it seriously. This all started from one infected person, so it wouldn't take much for the pandemic to become fugly again. That's why I'm excited about the whole anti-body immunity testing. If in fact people can be tested for antibodies and build immunity, those people can go back out into the world without it changing the course of the pandemic. That's great news.
  6. John was just saying a few weeks ago that everything was fine. That was my point. I was trying to bring some REAL positives into the world rather than the doom and gloom.
  7. People keep telling me that as society progresses everything becomes more awesome but as society progresses the less awesome things become bigger too. Can't have one without the other. Law of Entropy and all that.
  8. I love it. It's a GGA Green Dress piece of art, which is what I collected back in the day.
  9. I just revised everything and put an update in my 3rd post in the thread. I don't plan to do any selling today but the best way to know is to follow this thread or follow my profile. Likely middle of the week at the soonest, unless something changes.
  10. I was just going to say, I thought you were in bed hours ago.
  11. Invincible #1 CGC 9.6 deslabbed (I will try to find the CGC label - I think I still have it) Asking $300 SOLD!
  12. Amazing Spider-man #361 9.8 NM/M - stunning copies - 1st app Carnage I have 4 copies available Asking $275 each SOLD!
  13. Some slight revisions to the rules above As I announced last week, I plan to post a selling thread with a lot of raw books. Many of these books were going to go to CGC, some were just sitting waiting for a sales thread like this. There will be some keys, lots of run books, mostly high grade but also plenty of low and mid grade affordable. A little bit of stuff for everyone. I don't think there will be any really expensive books (I don't think there's anything over a few $100 although there are many VERY NICE books) so every thing will be affordable. I will throw in free shipping on anything over $200 and it will cost $10 to ship on orders under $200. I have 100's of books to list so I well get to them as I can. Everything will be priced very fairly and to sell. I will grade all of my books tight. I'm well known as a tight grader among the hobby but if there is any question, I will choose the lower grade. You will not be disappointed. All returns will be free of charge to you and I will pay return shipping if you are not satisfied. If you slab a book and it does not come in the grade I listed it at, I will pay for all costs including the grading fee. Of course, I don't expect you to return it if it grades higher
  14. Shipping: Certified books, shipping is included FREE within North America, ROW we split it. Raw books, include $10 for shipping within North America. ROW I will split with interested parties. Who wins: Time stamp seals the deal as to who wins regardless of the form of communication (including PM, in the thread, text or phone conversation). A negotiation is not a deal until both sides have agreed on terms. If there is an unconditional posted (or communicated) it will trump all negotiations unless we have already both agreed to terms before the was posted. In that case, the will have been in vain. Except that it will give you street cred and look cool to passers by. No House Of Shame or Probationary members or any others of ill repute. Returns: I am considered a very good grader among my peers ( Here is a link to my kudos thread ) but since even CGC is inconsistent I will not guarantee a CGC grade. I will guarantee to be within one grade increment in either direction - so if I am calling the book a 9.4 it could go 9.2 or 9.6. If it falls outside of those parameters (and it does happen that they go in both directions), I will offer a refund. But I don't expect anyone to complain if I undergraded it. I will accept returns if item is otherwise not as described. Consider all books pressed. Pricing: I try to price books close to fair market value. I am open to offers but it's not very likely I'm going to be accepting offers at 30% off fair market value.
  15. That is the last one for tonight, folks! Thank you for looking! I am going to be listing a few books in the MA/CA forum right now...moving on over there.
