    Yeah but is that CGC's Job? There are resources out there to educate the masses....Ebay, Grading guides, OSPG....

    The LCS guy has a collection of CGC's "worst graded" books that some guys drop off because they are worthless....it's hilarious. I've never seen so many 0.5's (missing parts of the book), Hi grade reprints, and colour touched books....we have some good fun going through them!!

    Here is the Kirby sig that I got from the King at the NY Comic Con in 1975. It does appear to flow a bit more than the sig on the FF2, but looks very similar (especially the "K"), and may have a different look owing to being on the splash page rather than the cover: Thanks - this is similar to what I found through a web search. Although, It's not what's "similar" about a signature that counts in forensic analysis, it's what's "dissimilar". Again we see lower case -script, not block lettering. I had an Amazing Adventures #1 (1961) that was autographed by Jack and it looked just like the onein the Cap #100....the FF #2 did not strike me as real as soon as i saw it....just my 2 cents....

    I'm kinda of embarrased (and still in shock ), but i dropped a raw solid NM- Avengers #4 this weekend and made a VF or VF- out of it. I was talking to my Daughter while handling the book and should not have been handling the book at the time, but such is life.....The cover was WHITE and the book had 2 or 3 tiny spine stress...perfect otherwise.
