the same for me I do this because I like it, because it's fun for me. I don't ship internationally because it's easier and less risky for me not to. If it ever stops being enjoyable to me, I'll stop completely. Until then, what do I care if I'm missing out on sales? I don't need that money to put food on my table.

Two days - 1) My13th birthday (1975). My older sister handed me a present. Inside the box were a bottle of Tahitian Treat, a can of Pork n Beans, and a Daredevil #1. 2) Sometime around 1980 ... the owner of the LCS I frequented as a kid (The Book Stop in Grand Rapids, MI) handed me a DD #48. It was the last issue I needed to complete my complete run of Daredevil. Sadly, shortly afterwards my life took a turn towards college, marriage, etc. & I was completely out of comics for about 25 years.

OT post... I've never been a big fan of tiers. I would have no issue with charging more for different TATs, but the age of the comic, imo, shouldn't impact the cost of the service. I'm also not clear why there is a 'max value' for the different tiers.

Went to a local flea market back in the 80s. Guy had a small box of old comics. In it ... FF #1. (First book I pulled out of the box) Wanted $185 for it. I passed.

You're never paranoid about selling expensive books on Ebay? I've been giving some thought about going to CL for expensive books to eliminate any possibilities of being 'taken' by scammers.

My last sub took 5 days to show up on the dashbaord. Regardless if your books are lost or not, 10 days is too long, imo.

Just curious ... why do people want their CGC bags to be Mylar?

I've noticed on a great many SA Marvels that the cover slightly overhangs the top of the interior pages. As a consequence, the top of the cover gets frayed. Is there a name for this?
