  1. When do we find out how many/which books were rejected in a prescreen?
  2. Hmmm, they must've had a reason for doing this but I can't think of it.
  3. My 28 book prescreen was delivered on the 1st, but wasn't "received" until yesterday (3/6). Actually, I never saw "received" ... I logged in last night & there they were, but they were at "SFG".
  4. I kind of want to see the ZA. Is that weird?
  5. Mr Paranoia has a question... Is there a defense against someone filing an 'item not as described' case, having Ebay refund their money, and then sending a worthless stack of papers back?
  6. After all this time, you'd think someone would've used the VSP across the street? Apparently not, though, because he has 100% positive?
  7. I mailed out my first prescreen today. I suffered a mini panic attack when I was asked how much it was going to cost if all 28 books passed ... but then I remembered how bad I am at grading & realized that there wasn't much chance of that happening. BTW, I think I did something wrong ... it cost me $42 to mail out the books. Oh yeah, one more thing ... my value sub from 12/14 hit graded yesterday.
  8. Just watched it last night. Like most everyone else, I really liked it. I got to wondering afterwards ... seeing as I haven't really read Spider-man in about 3 decades, I have no idea whether the movie holds true to the comics. I know who Miles Morales is, and I know Gwen is from an alternate universe ... but that's about the extent of my knowledge on those characters. So did the movie follow the comic (whichever that comic is, I don't know)?
  9. Yeah, I know what it is. I just couldn't find that option on the form. I found it, though. It's on there when you go to check out. Thanks though dude.
  10. I feel like such a dunce ... where the heck is the pre-screen option on the form?
  11. I don't agree with your opinions so be gone with you.
  12. I'm very ignorant when it comes to insurance stuff. Can insurance be beneficial in these types of situations?
  13. warning: non-comic related post This just seems wrong. My printer is out of Magenta, so I bid (& win) a cartridge for less than $2 (with free shipping). A genuine cartridge ... none of this refilled carp. Anyway, the guy (or girl) cancels ... then promptly relists the exact same cartridge for 3x as much BIN with $2 shipping. I know it's just a couple of bucks, but it kinda grinds my gears. Oh well, guess it's part of the game.
  14. I think I need a Q-tip ... it sounded like he said Grant Ennis.
  15. When you guys send a lot (>25) of books in how do you pack them? More than 1 box? Does CGC recommend a limit per box? Thinking about doing my first prescreen and looking for tips.
  16. I don't have private insurance, so I have to rely on FedEx's minimal insurance ... so I can't/don't have FedEx deliver my comics.
  17. I always divert my FedEx package to Walgreens. Never had a problem.
  18. Absolutely. I just didn't know that you needed to contact the seller first before leaving negative feedback. Unless I'm reading it wrong, that's what the Ebay rep told kav
  19. So from what I just read ... every neg FB I see means that the buyer contacted the seller (or vice versa) first with his complaint?
  20. When they ask for the insurance value, we're supposed to put down the value it will have after it's been slabbed? At a grade that we know it'll receive?
  21. I won't mention the fact that you had CGC ship an IH 181 back to you. I was just wondering if, as an 11 year UPS employee, you had any advice for us. BTW - I've never had any issues with either UPS or FedEx. The USPS however....
  22. I like my women like I like my coffee... ground up & in the freezer
