  1. I've never really understood the animosity towards flippers. Somebody once gave some kind of economic answer, but it flew right over my head. A couple of quick questions... - Is time the determining factor for what makes one a flipper? IOW - put it up for sale right after buying it...which is what dealers do. (Why doesn't the OP meet the criteria for being a flipper?) - What's the difference between a dealer and a flipper?
  2. My value sub from 3/21 just shipped today.
  3. I don't read moderns. Besides BP & CM, I don't know those people.
  4. The phrase "so that's what it looks like" was used a lot back then.
  5. "Biggest Movie in History" A greater accomplishment than beating Thanos. btw - Did I miss the explanation for why the Hulk refused to come out in IW?
  6. For me, it's not so much easier as it is faster. I could always find what I wanted (CBG, Hal Verb, etc) ... it just took a little longer to find/get it.
  7. I'm sure this isn't related, but a couple of months ago, I had 3 unauthorized bank transactions - one from Atlanta, one from Seattle, and one from New Jersey. $8,000 total. The bank had to shut my account down and open a new one - and of course give me all my money back.
  8. From what I understand, this isn't correct. Correct me if I'm wrong. TBH, Given his responses (or lack thereof), I don't think GEEzusWalks gives a hoot one way or the other.
  9. I know it's not funny, but that's pretty darn funny. Sorry
  10. I really wouldn't know. I THINK it was a very good buy.
  11. Near miss... Back around '79 (can't remember exactly when - but at least I don't have Alzheimer's), me and a buddy went to a flea market. Some guy had a small stack of comics. There was a FF #1 in the stack. The guy said he'd take $185 for it. I didn't have enough on me, but my bank was about 1/4 mile away. It was hot out, though, so I went and got some lemonade instead of going to the bank. Oh well. at least the lemonade was good.
  12. When you do walkthrough, how does CGC bill you? I understand it's 3% of FMV, but what do you use for FMV...raw or slabbed? Does CGC figure the amount owed before you send the book(s) like other tiers?
  13. Don't worry about it. Registered Mail takes longer than you'd expect. Typically over a week for me. Track it.
  14. Sold my complete run of DDs when I went off to college. Before that I sold plenty of early Spideys (issues 10-20) and early FFs (issues 8-up) , not to mention other Marvels, for cars, drugs, and girls. This was back in the 70s.
  15. That would be great. let me repeat that... That would be great!
  16. " The fee for CGC Grader Notes varies based on the tier the comic book or magazine was submitted under. " why?
