  1. A copy of New Mutants 98 9.8 (not Newsstand, not signed), sold with a best offer of $3000.
  2. 2 of the Midways with the price sold for $360 and $370 raw. I can only imagine what a 9.8 graded variant would sell for.
  3. My understanding is that stores are required to order at least as much as they ordered for #1 for subsequent issues. How stores sell them are up to them. Some stores were requiring pre-orders for the entire series, understandably, so they're not stuck with extra books. Some retailers (such as Midtown) have them available individually.
  4. Look at the spine on the ones without it. You see a long black line running the height of the book that you don't see on the ones with the white bit. That's because a little of the back cover is wrapping onto the front. Extremely common with books with massive print runs. Compare the outer edge of the back cover on two examples as well. On the ones that you suspect trimming on, you should see a little *more* art than you see on the one you don't suspect trimming on. If still in doubt, just measure both books; they should be the same size
  5. ASM 316, raw, for $444: https://www.ebay.com/itm/Amazing-Spider-Man-316-Vol-1-Near-Perfect-High-Grade-Venom-Appearance-/363305837067?hash=item5496b7220b%3Ag%3ASjcAAOSwm2JgOT4N&nma=true&si=sYFZpAP8jgg2HhKdrZ3u8RpT1os%3D&orig_cvip=true&nordt=true&rt=nc&_trksid=p2047675.l2557
  6. Assuming that you have in your collection all of the 1/2 issues that you want, and you have no special connection to the envelope, list it on eBay for an amount greater than any of the 1/2 issues; maybe someone out there thinks the thrill is worth it. Or, just open it.
  7. Is there something special about the zero issue that it would sell for $80 raw?
  8. What did you get for it? Looks like a raw went for nearly $100 and 9.8s for over $200
  9. That's definitely what I'm thinking about for everything that's not graded. I've got a few copies of the regular edition of #1, and a bunch of other random issues. My understanding is that some of the issues aren't particularly easy to find?
  10. I've got a 9.9 of the holographic cover of Blood & Thunder #1. I hadn't been planning on selling, but if MK prices continue to stay up, I might have to consider it.
  11. There are some nice results for Mortal Kombat comics: https://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_from=R40&_nkw=mortal+kombat+cgc&_in_kw=1&_ex_kw=&_sacat=0&LH_Sold=1&_udlo=&_udhi=&_samilow=&_samihi=&_sadis=15&_stpos=11102&_sargn=-1%26saslc%3D1&_salic=1&_sop=12&_dmd=1&_ipg=50&LH_Complete=1&_fosrp=1
  12. That doesn't seem right. From what I've read, the "Not firsts" are supposed to be available indefinitely. Maybe they could only get as many as they got of the first prints *right now*, but they should be available again when they can print more up. They may wait until they have a minimum number of reorders to print off more, so they may not be available right away, but eventually.
  13. I'd love to see a connected universe, but it isn't my impressions that that's what's happening right now.
  14. If you haven't already read his Valiant work, I highly recommend it. Especially Ninjak. He also wrote the 2013 Rai series, which Clayton Crain did all of the art for, the 2017 X-O Manowar series (which had a number of top artists on it), and Unity.
  15. If Wanda is going to create a field where an entire town is playing along with her reality, I imagine it can't be all that taxing on her abilities to create a much smaller field that affects one person; that's what I'm seeing happened here.
  16. Absolutely. Invasions make sense, but the "Secret" part necessitates the invasion by Skrulls. And we already know they're involved. Maybe all of this "Skrulls are the good guys" nonsense is their game while they slowly replace all of the people they need to replace. (I haven't seen Far From Home yet, so I don't know if that idea makes sense in respect to what was shown there."
  17. Funny that you say outta nowhere. I've been waiting for this for a year.
  18. To be fair, she *did* offer to take the kids so Wanda could have some "me" time, and on that she certainly delivered.
  19. That's still a Silver Age first appearance, and it's totally possible he'll still show up at some point. I feel bad for the people that paid over $1K for a 9.8 WCA #45
