  1. Someone is going to be disappointed here. The description indicates Newsstand, and the main pic is a Newsstand, but that appears to be a stock image, and the second image is a Direct, and the seller confirmed via message that it's a Direct. https://www.ebay.com/itm/295748014542?mkevt=1&mkpid=0&emsid=e11051.m43.l1123&mkcid=26&ch=osgood&euid=8e7eef1c1c7043b692ea077326253d1c&bu=43524605054&osub=-1~1&crd=20230613060744&segname=11051
  2. We know from Stan himself that some fans did feel that way. But it would be hard to determine how prevalent that opinion was.
  3. Confirming that this one never paid, and has another new feedback indicating he didn't pay another sller.
  4. I'm disappointed that they only used this logo for a few issues. It is, in my opinion, the best of the logos they used for the first series.
  5. Another non-payer. A little surprised by this one since the buyer's feedback is int he thousands: starrynight20
  6. I don't know if the license would allow for that, since those are two different toy companies. Hasbro owns both G.I. Joe and Transformers. If Skybound could get the Power Rangers license, I could see that being incorporated. And for and giggles, lets try to wedge My Little Pony, Jem and the Holograms, and Peppa Pig in there too.

  8. Probably doesn't matter if I put this is spoilers now, but I think it's more because
  9. Word out now is it's a Transformers/G.I. Joe crossover.
  10. The buyer is salvadorlanuza11. He just had another feedback comment added indicating non-payment. So 4 of his 15 feedback indicates he's a non-paying buyer, and who knows how many transactions on which sellers didn't do that.
  11. I have a feeling I'm going to have another one to add in a week. I currently have two people bidding up a book that I sold copies of for about $20 previously that's currently sitting at over $50. The current high bidder's feedback:
  12. Did they cover the shipping, or try to get you to cover it? Or do you offer free return shipping?
  13. Another non-paying winning bidder: viefl-41
  14. The person who posted said they were up against the book, but they still have the backing strip on it, so it doesn't look like they're stuck to the book.
  15. Pretty sure those are the internal labels they stick on individual bags. When you get a reject from a pre-screen, they have a similar label attached to the bag.
  16. Haha; I just came over from the Facebook group to post about this as well.
  17. Has anyone made the "Has anyone suggested they call it the Romnibus?" joke yet?
  18. Back when I started collecting as a teenager, I couldn't afford any of the big keys, so I built a collection from discount boxes. Plenty of the books I picked up that ways are still discount bin fodder, but plenty also got hot at some point. I think all of my Marvel Super-Heroes Secret Wars issues came from discount bins. The Rocket Raccoon mini and Logan's Run 6 (first Thanos solo story) are just a couple others off the top of my head I can think of.
  19. I imagine unconnected, unless they had a press that also was doing the bindery. Or you want to consider the "connection" general lack of upkeep in a facility that leads to errors?
  20. I'd actually prefer that, if I got to pick what sort of error my slab would have. I was the owner of an upside down Silver Surfer book, and I sold it at a premium compared to copies that were properly encapsulated in the same grade, because the owner of a Silver Surfer collection wanted it as an oddity for his collection.
  21. It's like claiming that covid numbers are decreasing because you reduced testing for it.
  22. That's what they want. From their release: Mechanical errors will continue to be a declining percentage of overall submissions, not because their QC has improved, but rather because they're claiming that their flawed product is acceptable. And now they're going to have all of their customers wondering if they're going to be dinged for the shipping when they send their books back.
  23. If I've reached my limit in negotiations as either a seller or buyer, I'll just send the same offer that was previously sent, if the other party replied with a different figure. That should make it clear I'm done negotiating.
