  1. If you're negotiating via PM and someone takes it directly in the thread, the "take it" in the thread would trump the PM negotiation. But from the OP, it sounds like the deal was done via PM, even if the book was not claimed in the thread. I've received better offers after a book has been taken in my thread, but I stick to the rules and let it go. At the end of the day it prevents headaches like this thread.
  2. Right? If this thread was posted a year ago, I would have been taking most of the books in the teens and twenties. Awesome thread!!
  3. @comicquant Great group of books! That #10 is really nice.
  4. Bad timing. I'd be all over that B&B 25. I'm surprised it's still here.
  5. Sorry about the covered serial number, it was posted on Instagram before it was posted on here. Bought at a 7.5, but @joeypost did a fantastic job.
  6. She also baked me a cake that was Spidey and Star Wars themed. Sorry, just one more picture.
  7. He sent it straight for grading. Will update once it's graded.
  8. My girlfriend just surprised me with an ASM #10 for my birthday.
  9. @gadzukes @kav I have not seen the book in person, but my buddy is saying that you can't fully open the book due to the three additional staples. I'm trying to get extra pictures to see if that one original staple is holding onto the cover.
  10. Hey everyone, A buddy of mine picked up this book a couple years ago and is just getting ready to sell it. Here's the info that he has provided: -Missing top staple, has (3) extra staples added -Centerfold is detached -It's got tape along the spine (obviously ) Sure looks like it could use a press, IMO. He's wondering how the added staples and tape on the spine will affect the grade/label. I thought I would see what a few other people have to say before I give him any solid advice. Thanks in advance!
