I'm no lawyer either, but this does not sound right at all. Typically the person the items were stolen from gets their items back. Those caught in the middle are generally out of luck.

I would hope that all listing for humble cow are removed pending further investigation and not just a few books.

Its a good point. Its like someone making a thousand predictions and one of them turning out to be right and saying that guy knows what he is talking about.

So those are the people working for CGC/JSA? And does that mean they are an expert in every single artist's sketches?

That seems incredibly simplistic. Who exactly is trained to analyze sketches and determine if they are fake? My guess is this will get the rubber stamp treatment.

So how exactly will they be authenticating sketches?

Shouldn't it be three days to say if you want the service and if not you don't get it? Seems like there should be a better way. If they have time to send an email how about a phone call.

I don't know if this can be confirmed, but saw this posted somewhere else. Someone submitted books with sigs on them, but did not want sig verification. They were happy for the books to come back however they would with unverified sigs. They got an email from CGC saying they noticed sigs on the book and if they didn't hear back in three days they were assuming they just forgot to ask for verification and they would submit for verification and get charged. Seems a bit backwards.

The person who submitted the books above says the corners were minty fresh in the slab when submitted. Not so much any more.

So 9.9 prescreens haven't happened yet, right?

Does this seem legit for a 9.9? Someone posted as a recent submission of 25 Wolverine #1 that got 3 9.9s and a 10.

They wanted to get their money's worth paying for that ME resubmission.
