  1. I buy the upgrade first, say I'm going to sell the undercopy and then never sell the undecopy. So I got that going for me.
  2. In case anyone is wondering, this thread does work.
  3. It does feel a bit like a scam. Here is $80 worth of books. Unless you tried to actually sell them. Then you have $45 worth of books if you get lucky.
  4. Some mystery boxes are better than others.
  5. I'm thinking you would be way happier buying $50 of comics you actually want.
  6. OK. I think I got a little confused there.
  7. Thanks for the suggestions. Ideally I would like to be in walking distance of inner harbor. Nothing too crazy since a few of the people I will be with aren't that adventurous eating wise. How is the Rusty Scupper?
  8. Just look at the last one I posted in the record magazine thread. A complete rag for $175. I think it's the new normal. I really should sell the two I had graded a while back. Nothing high grade, but with current prices that could fund something nice.
  9. Sounds like his issue was with pressing, not third party graders.
  10. I almost pulled the trigger in Steve's thread. You should do well given the prices we have been seeing lately.
  11. If a buyer reads that description and pays a price in line with a book without the defects listed as possibilities they deserve exactly what they get.
