    Not that I'm aware of. I think a lot of things revert back to the rules someone puts (or doesn't put) in their sales thread.

    It doesn't work that way. If someone was nominated for PL because shipping wasn't fast enough and that didn't break any of the sales thread rules then they wouldn't be added. You can't add someone without a valid reason.

    My friend gets these discount offers from sellers regularly on items he is watching. I never even heard of it before and have never gotten an offer. He also seems to get discount codes (10-20% off) on all kinds of items that don't seem to be general codes they are sending out. Where the hell are my discounts???????

    This sounds like a challenge. Who can get the oddest interior tampering through grading without being detected.

    I'm not sure the general public of comic collectors is aware of pressing. Or how prevalent it might be. Serious collectors? Sure. CGC collectors? Not as sure. I never heard of it until I joined the boards here.

    My question was more where do those dealers get the books from then (assuming they need it for inventory). Let's say every single con put a stop to buying early. Dealers still need to acquire books.

    For those saying they or other dealers won't attend shows if they can't get in early and therefore that is a lot of money not being spent, what is the alternative? I assume you still need / want to buy those books. Do you just buy them outside of the shows?

    I definitely won't be getting every cover they put out, but I had to get the copy of #1. Honestly they could have done it on a dirty napkin. If it has Frazetta on it, I have to get it. I have to say though I'm thinking they made it poor quality on purpose. They have in fact done exactly what you said and made it seem like a fanzine.
