Not a magazine, but wanting to pick this up for a while.

Went to a yard sale today that advertised lots of comics. My wife actually told me about it. One picture showed 5 short boxes so at least I knew it was more than a couple of books. As expected though it was mostly in rough shape and pretty much just drek. I did buy about 15 comics just for the heck of it. Probably the coolest thing I got was an action 1 reprint. I looked on ebay and couldn't find this particular one. The guy selling had no interest in pricing individual books so I pad ten bucks and he threw in a few toys my kids were eyeing up. He actually wanted me to take them all. I didn't ask how much he wanted because I had no desire to deal with them. Maybe a dealer could have used some for a dollar bin. And of course there is certainly the chance I missed some gems as my comic knowledge is pretty limited in the grand scheme of things. His wife mentioned some guy was driving two hours to take a look and kept bugging her for details. That guy is probably going to be cursing a lot.

Just because that is what someone is asking doesn't mean they will get it.

Getting totally off topic, but I had a buddy with a crazy aunt that told everyone in the family she hid tons of cash in her house. When she died they tore it up and found nothing. A final parting joke.

I have never been and can say I have no desire. For that kind of money I rather go to some smaller shows and then take a nice vacation. Or spend that money on comics.

Nope. There are no restrictions. You just have to follow the rules. One of the big ones is the books you offer can't be offered for sale anywhere else at the same time.

You should post these in the regular sales section as long as they are not for sale anywhere else. This is really only for items on ebay and most people don't look at this section that much. Just make sure you follow the posting rules. Look at some other sales threads to get an idea of what to post.

I highly recommend the Frazetta Reference. So much good information in that book.

I would agree with your conclusion had the seller not then agreed to a return. In my opinion that act that the seller took extended the transaction. Of course we will never know if the seller would have indeed accepted the return with no issues if it was immediately noticed. The one thing I keep going back to is the seller accusing the buyer of fraud (or whatever you want to call it) which really escalated this to a new level of dispute. It seemed to be relatively civil until that happened. But I still think both parties are at fault and they should strive to somehow "split" the loss.

Did I give one away in the Christmas raffle last year? I can't remember.
