I was interpreting "tape on complete front cover" as the cover was complete and there was some tape on it. Not the entire cover is covered in tape.

That's funny. I was looking at that listing today. I think I have seen it before as well. is it off-color or is it faded? Looks more like faded to me. I assume it was faded. I thought it was odd that the listing made no mention of any issue.

I like them. I have bought several and have no complaints. The part I like is the "mystery", not the value (but of course value helps). I guess I just don't see what the downside is. I could understand if people were complaining about not getting promised value, but other than that it seems like a fair transaction.

I think of statues a bit like comics in that there are so many varied types you can go nuts with it. I try and have a very focused collection otherwise it just gets out of hand so quickly.

Good story, but the initial story in the Edmonton paper was linked with the Wendigo Seems like that was pure speculation. The killer made no mention of it that I can see and came up with a different crazy story. Said god told him to kill that guy because he was an evil alien.

But his memory lives on in the X-Men arcade game. you know--- I don't think I ever read Hulk 182. As I recall, Wendigo was to fight the winner between the Hulk and Wolverine. Who won, did they fight? Or did Wendigo get relegated to video games and Hostess cupcake ads? nevermind-- I need to stop asking obvious google questions What's not so funny is the nutcase that decapitated a guy much smaller than him on a greyhound bus and ate some of him and whispered kill me because there was a documentary on TV about the Wendigo legend. My thoughts (as a self recognized noob). If there is going to be a discussion of the HOS and what that entails, people have to forget about what it was. Come up with a new definition without being hampered by what the old definition was. Start from scratch almost. Now perhaps it ends up being what it originally was (or very similar), but take a fresh look at what people want it to be. Does it really matter now what someone did x numbers of years ago to get on the list? And perhaps once it is agreed upon (however that happens) maybe people on the list could be given an opportunity to "appeal" if they think what they did no longer warrants being on the list. As an example, some people say it should be the worst of the worst. In response to that others have pointed to one person in particular (can't remember his name) who didn't seem to do anything much worse than Hustruck. That doesn't automatically mean it can't end up being the worst of the worst in a new agreed upon definition.
