I have trouble seeing because of my diabetes - and let me post a few pictures as well.
Maybe ask someone you trust to look at pictures for you.

pictures of new books you received
Inserts joke about TAT's being way longer than should be.
That would be awesome customer service if they could update that facebook page with more accurate turn around times.

So why don't they hire more people? Seems like they could churn out that much more revenue. Are there not enough bodies who know how to grade?

I don't know how some of you guys deal with ebay as a seller. I would lose my mind.
-
Some people must like it.

I have a few higher grade slabs that cost me less than $50. Certainly doesn't make me rich and I don't really have any intention on selling them so that doesn't make me an investor.

Bought some nice Conan comics from Andrew. He worked with me and also gave me a very nice freebie. Look forward to buying again from him.

Picked up about 25 busts and statues from a craigslist meeting. Don't know much about pricing them yet. Was surprised to see how much the Preacher statue sells for on eBay. Seems to be a mix of Bowen and DC Direct
Also got about nine short boxes of TPBs from same meetup I think one box was nothing but Dungeons and Dragons books which I know NOTHING about. Should be an interesting weekend.
Are you going to post the busts and statues? Sell them here?

I completely appreciate the cautious majority. If not for them there would be less deals. I really enjoy the "avoid eBay" threads.
I could easily scam a quarter of a million dollars from this board, in very little time, with very little effort.
Several people have done it: developed a long term business relationship with others, over years even, and then WHAMMO!!!
One big scam, and you're in Monte Carlo before anyone's the wiser.
Not quite the same thing, but i have seen it with a guy running fantasy football leagues. This guy was around for years and everyone trusted him. Plenty of people had met him and was considered a really good guy. One year he disappeared with about 20K. Turns out he just flat out stole the money. It was quite shocking to our little community of people.

Kav - have you ever done any Conan sketches?

Bought a few items and cleaned up on some freebies to boot. Good packing and quick. Look forward to buying more from Rupp.

Holy carp. That is amazing.
I have two copies. One that was probably a 9.0 until I realized the top staple was detached. The other probably around an 7.5. Thinking about getting the 7.5 graded if nothing else for safe keeping.

Awesome pack job and a freebie. Look forward to buying again from Robert.

I'm currently working on a full run of Conan the Barbarian. And no, none of them are hard to get and most are pretty cheap. I only have a few graded copies. I imagine once I'm done with the run that I might start upgrading individual copies when I can.

Anyone catch that final $2200+ winning bid on that Conan 9.6 over at CL? Has this book ever sold for this high in 9.6 before? Hope this is a sign Conan popularity is finally coming back.
Whoever bought it should have checked our the sales forum here first. Offered for $1,300 plus a free raw copy.

Got my SDCC book fast and packed very well. Plus he threw in a freebie and who doesn't love freebies.

I just wanted to say my post in no way was trying to question or call anyone out. I was just surprised.

I'm amazed at the some of the books that are offered here and not at one of the auction houses. Someone just put up a Hulk 1 for $14,000.

It seems like it would be easy enough to put a few rules in place about claiming RAKs. For example:
Offers between claiming: you must wait for x number of offers after making a claim
Time between claiming: you must wait for x number of days after making a claim
Amount of claims: you can only claim x amount of offers per month

I think it is fitting that one of the "sounds effect words" from the old batman TV series when they would punch someone is RAKKK.

I'm guessing "his attorney" doesn't know he has this person as a client.
