You think CGC will learn something from this? Was this the same thing they were supposed to learn with the invisible comic blunder.

You realize CGC has come out and said they knew exactly what they graded, right? Forget the fact they shouldn't have put this book in a blue label and sold grades on top of that.

"we appreciate everyone being patient" is the equivalent of starting a statement with "I don't mean to offend you"

Did CGC make multiple horrible decisions? Yes. Will CGC repeat those awful horrible decisions again? Also yes.

If a video turned up of CGC negotiating the price for the grades being requested CGC would still not admit to selling grades. They can't.

I'd like to imagine Matt Nelson and CGC's counsel, Marvel representatives and their counsel... Especially if Bleeding Cool's conjecture as to the content on Ghost Rider #1 acetate cover is correct. Why would CGC be going? To apologize to the general public?

Lawyer people, if eBay pulls this listing because it deems it counterfeit, does the charity have any leg to stand on if it decides to file suit against eBay? CGC did deem this book to be authentic after all. eBay has a partnership with CGC to authenticate items. Also, could CGC also get roped into said hypothetical lawsuit? That seems really far fetched. And would it even be worth it to try and sue them?

I didn't say it was a legit excuse. But it will be the one they use.

CGC has their "out". They are going to claim the news of Marvel saying these are not legit has changed their stance and these will not be graded going forward. They will ignore the other 87 issues that have been brought up.
