  1. You might want to consider filing a police report. Although I will admit I don't know how that works.
  2. My wife asked me if he was OK. Like is he having a stroke right this moment.
  3. Here is my original. Unfortunately it sits in a tube because to get this framed right would cost a fortune. Here is a link that talks about the different versions. http://www.vampilore.co.uk/ephemera/posters.html
  4. There were actually several reprints of the door poster over the years.
  5. There are some of the original 6' door posters on da'Bay for $350-$400, or you can get a new reprint for $30 HERE. The posters I just picked up are from the late 70's I believe. I have an original vampirella door poster like the one above.
  6. Picked these up at a horror convention. Posters are huge.
  7. And a few other random Frazetta pick ups from that show.
  8. Went to a horror convention this weekend. They always have a few comic dealers. Picked these up from Mike Carbonaro. Just talking to that guy is pure entertainment.
  9. So I got those magazines I teased about in the other thread. Not bad for $50 plus shipping. Yes, the creepy 29 is beat up. But ill take it for $5.
  10. They are certainly going to be in for a surprise if they try and get a COA from the museum.

  12. See above. They were not impressed.
  13. Let's just say the museum had a good laugh. I would say zero chance this is legit.
  14. Maybe we can get Wombats input on it . It may be a Frazetta signature, but it does look rather strange. I saw it when it was posted and alarm bells went off for me. Never saw one like that. I did send the seller a note and asked him what he knew about it. This was his response: Thank you for expressing an interest in my listing. I appreciate your question. Honestly, I'm not sure where or when it was signed. I bought this prior to 2012. It looks authentic enough to me. I don't recall how much I paid for this. It was probably a hefty sum. I'm sure the seller didn't disclose the tape repair or the amateur coloring on the back cover. Edit: I just sent it to the museum to get their thoughts on it.
  15. Still waiting on confirmation every single book goes through QC and not a sample.
  16. So I just go an email saying some of the items were not in the inventory and were being cancelled. Of course I thought here we go. But it was the Creepy 53.
  17. Sorry if this is a repeat. First time in this thread.
  18. To be fair QC has zero chance at catching this considering what they don't catch.
  19. I've been pretty lucky. Never received a book that smelled really bad. A few musty ones for sure, but nothing terrible.
