  1. I had never seen it before either. Called Dust to Dust. Here is the back cover and some interior shots.
  2. Baltimore and Philly shouldn't even be mentioned together. But if you really want to buy windows or funko pops I highly recommend the Philly show.
  3. I will say one thing that will be very depressing. I went to a smaller local show a few weeks ago. Sticking with the theme of this thread I only bought a few things because the prices are just getting out of reach. I always look forward to Baltimore Comicon every year, but do I really want to spend a day looking at stuff I can't afford?
  4. Saw it tonight in the theater. Loved it. Pretty much got exactly what I was hoping for. Disappointed there was a post credit scene to hint at what was next.
  5. I did think about doing the pressing thing, but at the end decided it just wasn't worth it to me. Didn't want to spend the extra money or wait the extra time. If I try to sell some of these then I can at least throw in the "not pressed" as a selling point.
  6. Not that I'm saying anything shocking here, but the way I see it: Just buying = sucky times Selling and Buying at the same time = neutral Just selling = Bazinga
  7. 2 Eerie 23s, 2 Blazing Combat 3s and 1 Blazing Combat 4. Got me very close to my $150 credit not counting shipping.
  8. I am probably greatly helped with the fact I am totally fine with low grade books for my bigger purchases. While they have increased in price as well, certainly not as much as higher grade books.
  9. Finally got around to this. Just packed everything up and it will go out tomorrow. Wish me luck.
  10. Concentrate on getting some stuff for sale (I have never sold a single book) and move in to more of a "trade mode". Sell a book to fund a purchase. Things being relatively equal it should be a wash, but I get to pick up new stuff.
  11. Thanks all. Looks like I'm going USPS.
  12. Thank you. Does that rate chart for USPS include insurance? I'm assuming it does, just want to double check. I'm also assuming most people pick USPS for the insurance?
  13. I'm not a big fan of the personalized sig if it wasn't for me. It would be last resort and would definitely lower the value for me personally. As to the whole debate about defacing a book, I don't know. Is it any worse than entombing a book and never looking inside the cover? Artists sign their artwork all the time. Why would this be any different?
  14. I know there have been threads about this, but can't seem to locate one readily. I'm doing my first submission in a really long time. From an insurance perspective I seem to remember it made a difference which option you picked to get your books shipped back. Any advice? Total value is less than 1K if that makes a difference.
  15. One short box? You will think back on that and laugh one day.

    Use of Credit

I have a $150 credit that I believe expires at the end of May. I'm a little worried with how long it is taking books to get processed if I send them out in the next few days. Will the credit be applied as long as they get to you before the end of May?
  17. Hope for the best, prepare for the worst.
  18. I've always thought these polls shouldn't be anonymous, but I realize that is probably not a popular idea.
  19. Magazine short boxes for storage. IKEA floating shelves for display.
