  1. Posted on Facebook on the Art Museum page. On this day 11 years ago, Frank Frazetta passed away at the age of 82. He was a man who lived a long life full of love, happiness, and success. When people ask me who he was as a person, I always explain that they'd never expect him to be the legendary artist that he was- he was humble, kind, and caring; he wore clothes that were comfortable to him, rather than the type that would show off his success; sports were a huge passion of his, and his athleticism was as important to him as his talent in art; and it was hard to get him to brag or boast about anything, even though he had a competitive nature. All in all, Frank Frazetta was a family man, always trying to surround himself with those who loved him. I could not have asked for a better Grandfather, and I'm very proud to be his grandson. I love and miss you every day Grandpa; you were a very special person. -William Frazetta
  2. At 30 days today delivered but not yet marked as received. I did use the new tool to verify they did actually have it in their possession.
  3. Just wanted to check and see if this was being followed up on.
  4. Got it!!!!! Vampirella #5, page 32.
  5. Its not a cover swipe. There isn't really anything that looks like that. If its interior that might be hard to pinpoint.
  6. I'm trying to alert CGC to the fact they seem to have this in two spots in the census. We shall see how it goes.
  7. That's not what I'm saying. Under Epic Illustrated you have NN as an issue #. Separately you have Epic Illustrated Sampler listed as a different series with one NN issue. I believe these are both the same book.
  8. I think I figured it out. Looks like this issue is listed twice in the census. But I think this is incorrect and these are both the same issue.
  9. No. You are dreaming.
  10. Not sure if this can be fixed. Below is a screen shot of a cert and then the census. Is there a reason this cert # isn't on the census?
  11. Random facebook live sale. Scrolling through my feed and saw these in the background. I feel like I've seen a small increase in magazines for sale, although its still not common.
  12. So I have no idea why mine is not showing up on the census. When I look up the cert it seems to be right, but definitely not on the census.
  13. This one is a bit different. Ken Kelley is Frank Frazetta's nephew (through his wife) and was studying under Frank. This was going to be Ken's first cover and he showed it to Frank first. Frank didn't like the face and repainted it.
  14. You do get a little Frazetta with this one. Frank repainted the girl's face.
  15. I'm on day 23 since delivered but not yet marked as received.
  16. Thanks. Spent a few years putting it together. I have some pics in the comic room thread, but probably needs some updating.
