Is that a trade? Or maybe a square-bound?
Ad says it's a treasury sized (10"X13") edition... whether square-bound or stapled, it doesn't say.
The Rocketeer treasury that was released in November had staples, not squarebound. I assume this one would be the same, just a different cover.

Thanks for buying the lot of Weirdo issues, hope you enjoy them!

one good and one bad for my Stevens collecting today. I picked up the Rocketeer Jetpack Treasury Edition from IDW. The cover isn't as nice as the one directly from Jetpack, but the art inside looks fantastic at this larger size.
On the bad side, I saw the Vampirella A Scarlet Thirst book in a 50% off TPB box, but it had a huge stain on the back, so I had to leave it there.

Anybody need a Grendel #4?
Not attempting to poo-poo on your hoard, but to me this one is more of a Pander Bros. cover than a Stevens cover, since it only has Stevens inks. To me, it looks nothing like the all Stevens covers that led me to collect his work in the first place.

Wasn't Dave's art used on the cover of adult foreign comics issue Kiss, or am I remembering it wrong?
you're correct!

many people are still willing to pay more for the Space Vixens 3-D book than I am:

As long as I have the camera and my mini comics out...
Bought these because I thought they were something else, but still neat
Larry Blake stuff. I have a few issues of his Afterworld title, apparently the guy's been putting out self published stuff since the early 70's. There's a Youtube video with more info about him if you have nine minutes to kill.

Received an item today that I've been looking for for a few years now. I see there is someone selling them for $125, but that's more than what I was willing to pay. Ebay has not had one all this time, then a couple weeks ago 2 show up at the same time. I picked up one.
See if you can come across one.
Genus #2 (Sept. 1993) (Adult only)
First Terry Moore's Strangers in Paradise published work.
I just picked up one of these off eBay, didn't know anything about it until I saw your post, so thanks for the tip. (thumbs u
Pics or it didn't happen.
Here's a link to the auction, in the adults only section, so you have to log in:

I will break up the lot then. Consider them yours.
I hope this doesn't get me into trouble, but I just picked up a few of the Nexus issues I needed from another source, so I don't need all of the ones I asked about. Here are the ones I still need:
45, 48, 58, 71, 73
Well I can't say I'm happy. You were going to buy 14 books so I broke up the set now you're taking 5.
I had no idea if you were going to break the set up or not and I had submitted a WTB post for the Nexus books before I even asked about breaking them up. Again, sorry. If you want to pull back the Nexus books, I don't have a problem with that.

Hey all,
We're all familiar with Larry Welz of Cherry Poptart fame, but I'm compiling a list of his earlier stuff (1969-1975) and was wondering if I was missing anything? Here is what I have -
Captain Guts #1-3
Yellow Dog #13/14, 17-18
San Francisco Comicbook #2-3
Funnybook (1st Cherry)
Slow Death #3
American Flyer #2
Tuff Sh-t
Monolith
Bakersfield Kountry Comics
THANKS!
Jerro
American Flyer Funnies #1
Kids Liberation Coloring Book
There's also some more recent items other than the Cherry books, like a few issues of Rip Off Comix. Wasn't sure if you were looking for those.

Is there Dave Stevens content in Cheval Noir #17? I didn't see it mentioned on the cover.
-
The cheapest one that I found was $499.99. Is that price anywhere near what this book is worth? I have a copy, but I know I paid nowhere near that amount.

Missed out on a 3-D Zone #16, I was the underbidder. Would have bid more, but the upper right corner of this book looked pretty sketchy to me.

Anyone know anything about these, and if they have any value?
Artwork by M Roden, Bob X, Ed H Dorn, John E, Bob Armstrong, Peter Bagge, Jim Williams, Dennis Worden, J Ryan, Ed "Big Daddy Roth"
Artwork by M Roden, Xno, Jeff Gather, Mark Fisher, Bob X, J Ryan, Ed "Big Daddy Roth"
These were published by Mike Roden under his Thru Black Holes Comix. I am a big Roden fan and own a large collection of his work. Sadly, he passed away a few years ago, but I was lucky enough to get to know him a little before he passed. He had his own eBay store where he sold many of his mini-comix
To answer your question, these two comix are probably not worth much. They are some of his more common works. There was a long series of "Crazy Men" minis by Roden.

Well, one dealer had multiples of Planet Comics #1, so I picked up three, all were in decent condition. Still not a ton of them like the Alien Worlds #2 and #4, where I've probably picked up at least 20 copies each from one particular dealer and could have had more if I had taken the beat to mess copies.
I Miss Dave (Stevens, that is)

What in the books has told you that the Quack #1's you have seen were 2nd prints? Currently known information via various underground comix price guides and web sites says there is only one printing of all issues of Quack.
