  1. Alien Worlds #2 and #4 have been very easy for me, a dealer at the last show I was at had multiple copies of both in his .50 boxes, I bought all the ones that were in decent condition. Planet Comics #1 has been plentiful in recent months, as well.
  2. Hey Mike, actually it looks like this was not just a poster but also the front cover to a collection of underground art (maybe from an exhibit) published by S.K. Jonefsberg Studio in Portland, OR in 1995. Here is an image of the finished art. Cheers, Tom Thanks Tom! I knew someone could do it! Now I just have to find a copy for sale. one was just listed on eBay (not my listing) http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=200601422791
  3. The Feds n' Heads pictured in the above picture is definitely a first print, you can tell from the colors of the border, as they go from orange to yellow to green. All other printings have the top color as a purple-red mix http://www.ugcomix.info/guide/tells/0722tell.jpg
  4. I was watching this auction, and would have placed a bid if it hadn't gone past $20. I have a LOT of Stevens stuff, all of it rescued from cheap bins and boxes. However, I have never encountered this book in my years of looking for this stuff, so this is one I wouldn't balk at paying a little more for.
  5. Maybe Brother J will be nice and sell one of his copies to you. sure, not a problem, these are my 2nd and 3rd copies of this book, so I wouldn't mind parting with one.
  6. Dave Stevens goodies picked up at the local Philly show today, all $1 or less (most were less)
  7. I'd go with the Iger Comics Kingdom book. Never saw one of those, other than the overpriced copy on eBay.
  8. #6 is definitely a bugger. I picked up a copy of #6 from Lone Star for a decent price, they graded it as an 8.5, but I feel it was very undergraded, I feel it's easily a 9.4. Wouldn't have even thought about picking up this issue until I saw a discussion about it on this board a while ago.
  9. picked up a copy of Adolescent Radioactive Black Belt Hamsters 3-D #4 2-D version from Lone Star. Always wanted to have one of the 2-D books and was always hoping I would find one in a cheap bin somewhere, but never did.
  10. definitely! I've got a small hoard of BS #9 1st prints, but I doubt any of them would get a 9.4. Might have to double check that, though.
  11. a raw copy of Bizarre Sex 9 1st printing just went for $98! It was graded 9.6. There seems to be a major upswing of interest in this book: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=400168884468 Dope Comix #5 always seemed to be one of the toughest issues of that series to find. The Omaha the Cat Dancer collectors may also be bringing up the price on this one with her appearance in this issue. Sorry I wasn't able to help with any actual prices, any of the underground comix price guides are going to have outdated prices, anyway.
  12. I don't think any of them are that rare, currently there are seven copies of Xombi Platinum, seven copies of Hardware Platinum and five copies of Static Platinum listed on eBay.
  13. hmm, not sure it's THAT tough, I have two of them, without really ever looking to acquire them. The Static Platinum seems even easier to come by.
  14. Same here, kudos to Howard (EggsAckley) for the trade which helped me complete my first print set of Cherry!
  15. That's right, it used to be spelled out, changed in recent months.
  16. There were five printings of the San Francisco Comic #2, but since they are all exactly the same, they are all considered first prints in the underground comix collecting community. I assume you probably bought these from Don Donahue (apexnovelties) as these are books he regularly lists on eBay.
  17. Kudos to the Count for rapid fire shipping on a big lot of books. Great stuff, thanks!
  18. kudos to Jeffreykli for two great comics at a good price and quick and reasonable shipping. Thanks!
  19. kudos to alecholland for two great underground comix, packed well and shipped quickly. Thanks!
  20. Kudos to TonyStarkFan for some great comics at a great price and excellent customer service skills, as well!
