    I concur with the prior frustration of seeing round after round of low/mid grade GA. I just hope we don't slingshot into round after round of 2015-present books all with between 1 and 4 spine ticks.... and still be off by 3pts/book!

    Excellent work These are just two examples of the extremely troubling evidence/proof that this scam has indeed been going on for well over a decade by this same scammer with extremely key books! And this is only what has been found in just a couple days of digging. Like I said, this thread has exposed a couple of snowflakes resting on the tip of a very old iceberg that is massive and deep.

    How would they even know if there was any damage if they never even looked (more than just glancingly) at the book? Which apparently, they just don't.

    Yep. All four sides and any broken seal requires a full regrade. For years thin metallic or mylar tape has been used to identify tampered-with electronics or other warrantied products. There's certainly been good reason for CGC to have already moved into that type of integrity protection for many, many years now.

    AI is currently better, faster, more accurate at scanning medical imaging (which IMO is more complex than creases and spine tics) than any single human. It didn't happen overnight, but it is possible.

    Let a hooman open it and turn the pages while HAL views it from at least three different angles and a myriad of light filters. Then the hooman puts the book back and HAL assigns the grade.

    If you send back a book with nudie pics, it's DEFINITELY gonna bump the grade But yeah, it HAS to be verified no matter what. I'm just saying trying to pass off a slabbed book with no MJI as supposedly having an overlooked MJI should be super easy to spot.
