  1. Accumulation of minor defects keeps it in the 5.0 range for me. Great Kirby goodness, and 14 is a great companion piece.
  2. 6.5, possible 7.0 for a book that's definitely out of Pandora's box...
  3. 7.0 to 7.5, and one of the few Spideys of that era I'm still missing!
  4. Most of the wear on the back = great presenting copy. Looks 4.5 to me. Great GGA book.
  5. Nice looking copy, but that bottom staple looks like it would keep it in the 4.0 range, perhaps 4.5.
  6. PM me and let me know what else you have. I'm interested.
  7. I love the netherworld! Pre-code, so I think you're safe.
  8. I may have read it when it came out -not sure. I know I still have my 27 bought off the newsstands. Those were a good read as a kid! (And hopefully as an old curmudgeon, too!)
  9. Cross-posted from the Atlas - Have a Cigar thread: Two by Maneely: And a nice action cover by Severin:
  10. Some Atlas westerns: Recent Maneely pick-up from a Boardie: Always liked the symmetry of this cover by Maneely: And a nice action cover by Severin:
  11. Never bought from them before. I just messaged them about the availability of a few covers. Thanks!!
  12. Totally. This hobby has become so frenzied I'm scared to read one of my bronze age Spideys in 8.0 or better. Most of the books that I pictured in addition to any of the others from that era feature text stories which are fun to read. The Target 6 has a two-page text story with a partial origin of the White Streak.
  13. Do pages from a book like that showing Batman in only his second appearance command anywhere near the premium that one page from 27 will fetch? Or would the drop-off make a single page not worth slabbing?
  14. One could do worse than Supes 76. As minor keys go, that's a major one.
  15. I bought a repro cover on the Bay for a coverless FF1 I have (even though that was a year ago and I still haven't married them - lazy!) and I recall the seller stating he could make numerous covers. Does this include golden age? I'd totally get one for some of the above mentioned books like Bats 47 and the Target 6 because of the cool Spacehawk story.
