  1. UPDATE: Here is a link to the RECAP! Happy Holidays to all - and especially a Happy Festivus to those who live for the Feats of Strength and the Airing of Grievances! I hope everyone is staying safe and healthy out there in this sea of craziness and change. One such change with me is that I'm now working for Arsenal Comics & Games who have two stores located in Newbury Park, CA and Ventura, CA. So after several seasons in software and getting laid off I find myself back in funnybooks Which is great, because if I can make a living doing something I love - especially during these crazy times - I've got it made. But first the news... This sale will be a mix of SA & BA Marvel's and DC's. Some slabs but mostly raw. Probably about 100 books. We'll see how it goes, maybe more. I'll post recaps every 10 pages or so. Only pre-approved Peanut Gallery comments are allowed. No rude comments or flaming. If you have a question about a book in the thread please PM me - let's try and keep the sweet nothings between ourselves. I'm good at communicating. Just shoot me a PM. TERMS Paypal, check or money order are all accepted. always rules over any PM's or ongoing offers/negotiations but I now also accept the Kramer I'll Take It: Feel free to PM me with offers. I will not laugh or take offense, so offer away. Shipping will be via First Class (1-2 books), boxed Priority Mail (cost depending on #/books, weight, etc, etc. ) or in a Flat Rate Priority Mail box for $13.75. I'll also ship media mail if you wish. Tracking is included with everything and I'll ship everything within 2-3 business days after payment is received. I'm happy to ship Worldwide as well but please understand that shipping charges will be more expensive. I usually use First Class Air Mail but I'm open to others if you have another preference. Nobody on the probation list or the Hall of Shame. No returns on CGC books and 100% Satisfaction Guaranteed on raw books. If you're not happy with it, you can return it for a full refund. Unfortunately we can no longer do raffles but I promise plenty of freebies. I think I've got everything covered but if I missed anything please let me know. ********************************* So without further adieu, Giddy Up! Thanks for looking
  2. This set has 1-25 plus an annual, a Spider-Woman one-shot, a Civil War issue and more. So much fun.
  3. Next up is a set of Savage Avengers #1-10. It shouldn't work but it does! And what seems like a cash grab on the surface is actually one of the most enjoyable Marvel series I've read in a while. For a more enjoyable experience you need to listen to Shalamar and Morris Day & The Time while reading these
  4. And here is Set #2 of 3 Marvel Comics Blacklight Holiday Cards from 1971 with the original envelopes!
  5. Next up is a set of 3 Marvel Comics Blacklight Holiday Cards! In 1971, Third Eye Inc. of New York released a line of products featuring images from Marvel Comics printed in a psychedelic style with bright fluorescent colors.Included in the line were posters, puzzles, and oversized 6" x 9" greeting cards. I'm going to offer 2 sets so this will be Set #1. These include the original envelopes as well
  6. A couple different entries for me this year! First off is The New Avengers: The Ultimate Collection by Bendis Volumes 1 & 2. I love this entire run - it's time for someone else to experience its awesomeness. Unfortunately I cannot ship these internationally as they weight 4+ pounds.
  7. Why stop there? A three hour tour-some with Mary Ann, Ginger and Mrs Howell could really test some stamina.
  8. There ARE other religions here ROB!!!!!! It's important that we recognize that! I, myself practice Festivus and we celebrate on Dec 23rd. I open my packages after the Airing of Grievances but before the Feats of Strength!
  9. Avengers Annual #10 will always win. Always. Let me first say that Al Milgrom (editori-Al) was one of the best editors Marvel ever had. And a good inker too. But this is the worst cover ever. It's almost criminal in it's awfulness. Some of the faces will always make me laugh. I mean, how do you draw a small Blob? It's an oxymoron. Like 'jumbo shrimp.' The cover is like a pizza with 18 toppings trying to disguise the fact that all of the toppings are moldy and wilted. But lo and behold! Those who decide to enter are greeted by the amazing beauty of Michael Golden's art and a riveting yarn by Chris Claremont. It's like reverse fake advertising. Remember when Neal Adams did all those covers only to have you open the book to find Frank Springer?
  10. I love playing Secret Santa. I had a blast pumping some jams and putting together a gifi for XXXXXXXXXXX today and shipping it out. It's traveling on the Reindeer Express to one of our fine 50 States! Now I need to put together a gift for the raffle.
  11. Would you have any Yellow Claw, Jungle Action or Black Knight? Perhaps BA Horror
