I've got a few oddball TMNT items in my collection. I got this at a craft fair in Virginia, probably about the time it was published in 1992. My Arabic is rusty (not sarcasm), so I never tried to translate it, other than the print date - numbers are easy to read.

Went to a yard sale Friday AM. They told me that unfortunately something came up and that they could not open until tomorrow. Came back this morning and dug through a bunch of books and magazines. Seller ended up giving me a number to just take everything. I'm still going through the full suitcase of books. Some of the initial interesting books shown below.

Some random finds from LCS clearance bin digging and yard sales. I had never seen the eBay ashcan before, but I guess it came with Wizard magazine. Never seen "Nuos" before. This ashcan almost looks handcut. Then some random book compilations. The "Nostalgia Comics" one is especially cool.

Are any of these signatures from the Monster Squad tour this year? Three of the original actors went to all the Alamo Draft houses to watch the movie and do a Q&A.

At Tucson Comic Con this weekend a saw a sign that had this handwritten: Autographs for fans: FREE Dealers and resellers: $5 CGC: $30 I am seeing more signs like that recently. If a creator wants to charge those fees, that's up to him/her. There have been many threads on this board now about this topic. I chose to get a free autograph on a TPB. It does lead me to get fewer signatures.

I saw Liefeld at Phoenix last year. The Deadpool movie was coming out, so I bought a Liefeld VIP Pass and a pass to see the movie screening with him in attendance. The VIP package included free comics and a signature coupon. I was in the VIP line to get my Deadpool comic signed and was told by the handlers that my free signature was "only worth $XX" (his exact words, but I forget the specific number) and to sign a Deadpool comic it was an extra $10. And more for NM87 and NM 98. It was an absolutely absurd conversation with the handler. I know recently my SS purchases have gone way down, including sketches on blanks to slab. It's really getting annoying dealing with all these rules and crazy prices. I have pictures of meeting Liefield at a local shop when X-Force just came out. A stack of books and a nice conversation. Those were the days.
