Started the Saturday with a trip to an estate sale advertising comics. They had exactly one comic - a random issue of Married with Children. They also had some incredibly overpriced trading cards. Several hundred dollars for a set of 90's trading cards. I did buy the Photo Journal at a decent price. Then a few more stops with nothing. On my way home, saw a sign for comics and I left with a stack of cool stuff. Then later got a bunch of Tintin books from craigslist. Busy buying day.

i have the same experience. this thread was a fun one to watch. Same here. Accepted all the offers and books were shipped quickly and well packed. Reasonable shipping cost too.

Yup, that was the price. It still amazes me that they have books like that for $2 right next to absolute drek for $3 - $5 each. But the digging is what makes it fun I guess
