I tried to organize a board dinner for Baltimore Comic Con a few years ago shortly after I joined. I never really got enough interest. I think I even suggested other meetups, and never got any traction. I started a thread about the show in Tucson later this year. I'd be willing to help organize a team dinner there, but so far there have not been any replies to who plans on going.

God help me, I bought some books using the code. Even with the 50% off, it was hard to beat mycomcship and other prices. My second time in 20+ years of collecting buying from them. First time was okay. I think it just took a really long time to get here.

I'm not trying to take over Bird's thread. I'll post something on the boards as I get closer to having things organized. It'll be a few boxes of stuff pulled from my collection and a bunch of books that I'm letting go from recent yard sale purchases. Silver to Modern. Plus toys and trading cards, 80's to Modern. It sounds like there's a bunch of boardies in the Phoenix area. Anyone ever try to organize a get together or something? Now I'm done crapping in Bird's thread. Sorry, Bird.

Do you take requests? I'm looking for Tick stuff from the New England Comics booth (2 comics and postcard) and the Robotech comic from a booth that I can't remember right now.

Not much luck at yard sales recently, but I did have some fun digging through dusty boxes at a LCS. I'm not sure if there are any Phantom fans out there, but I'm slowly filling the holes in my collection. Some random magazines and a fun catalog of merchandise. The "Totally Kids" magazine is odd, but it does feature some X-Men trading cards. Lots of memories of watching those cartoons as a kid. I was not familiar with Rocket Blast Comic Collector, but these caught my eye.
