    Of course. I’m only saying that in some cases, the result is the same: A little pen ink on the cover.

    Right . In this case it means a very small amount of pen ink on the cover where someone made a half attempt to fill in a 3/4 inch crease. I get a massive discount for less ink on the cover than someone randomly writing their name on it.

    ya so get a job, cut back on that wastes money and junk food, save up and you can buy loads of big books. And if you can't afford the biggest books, so what? Your value as a person isn't in owning very expensive things. And sometimes life is just disappointing. deal with it.

    Awful news. Cancer is truly terrible. I was fortunate enough to briefly meet him on a couple of occasions at cons and got some sketches. He's just always so full of life that this turn can really make one think the universe is more than uncaring, it's sometimes downright cruel. I know that isn't true, not really. But it sucks terribly all the same. I hope he has a marvelous final era in his life and spends his time left in as little pain as possible.

    I hear ya, buddy. I didn't buy one at the same time I picked up my X-Men #1 and I'm literally paying for it now. ugh. Great copy though!

    Yeah I went ahead and picked one up. Much lower grade than that and raw, but I needed it to complete my run and I just don't think it's ever going to be "cheap" again.. It's softened maybe a tad? Of course it'll stink if it ever drops to pre pandemic prices, but it doesn't seem likely. Least not any time soon. I'd go ahead and get one if you find a decent deal, whatever grade you are looking at.
