Limiting yourself to slabbed 9.8 books, and I assume capping your budget at whatever the going rate currently is for the books you listed, pretty much means moderns only. And hoping to buy modern 9.8s within this budget range means you are always going to have to worry about losing a bunch of value on the whim of speculators. I'd take the same budget and put it into the nicest bronze keys I could that I was after instead.

Kirby is credited with interior art on #179, which threw me off. He isn't credited with any work on #178, making this issue the last he did cover and interior art on in this run. A glorious run indeed

I believe Kirby did up to issue 179. He came back to do some work later on, but his classic run on Thor ends there.

I am down to eight issues needed to complete X-Men #1 to 143. This should finally be the year! Apart from that, I have no idea really. I'll likely pick a new run to start on, but which one is up in the air.

Sucks for you who didn’t like it or thought it was just ok. It was the most fun I’ve had at a movie since End Game, and I can’t wait to see it again . yes it has its flaws, but it’s still pretty great. I don’t care to elaborate on why I feel that way. it was a ton of fun, good enough for me even if I thought it was an objectively bad or mediocre film, which I don’t.

Yep. He’s literally like two lights down the ave from the old spot. I’ve been by there to see him and check out the new digs, but that’s been a few weeks now. Not sure if he’s officially re-opened yet so definitely call ahead first.

I would be fine with a requirement that sellers must clearly disclose whether or not they have the books in their possession. that way the buyer can decide. plenty of reputable boardies sell comics here on behalf of others now and then.

I don’t think anyone should feel bad in the slightest for owning this.
