  1. FWIW, I've been very happy with the condition of all the books I've received so far from the sale. And it's been alot of books. So, so many books. So many.
  2. I'd suggest to them a business 101 class, too but they'd just chalk that up to "bad advice" and go on doing their thing. It's funny seeing the reason we have an ebay gonna ebay thread post in the ebay gonna ebay thread.
  3. Do whatever you want. Are you gonna bill the buyer for the gas to the post office, too?
  4. When reviewing offers, take into account your expenses before accepting. I'm just not getting why it's a problem? Expenses don't change. You seem to just be trying to look at it in a way that makes you feel like you aren't the one covering them. But you are, and it's fine, sell the book for a price that you are comfortable selling it at.
  5. build those costs into your asking price in the first place and you won't have to worry about it.
  6. Yeah I guess my comment wasn't really aimed at any post here, but I've seen in a few places where someone has said the craziness we are seeing now is bad for the hobby over all, somehow. And I don't agree. A tiny, tiny % of all the comics ever made are being impacted by the wild price coaster we are seeing, and there are a gazillion different ways to collect that don't revolve around whats happening with the big keys or even the minor keys suffering from MCU madness. It DOES stink for those of us who've had some of the big books on our wish lists, but who haven't quite been able to nail them down yet.
  7. I think overall it's starting to even out, not quite there, but it's not a total loss at this point!
  8. Sorry I'm over reacting. I drink too much soda and get excited.
  9. Since when is comic book collecting only about the mega keys? Since when? If the high prices run out people only interested in the mega keys, then good IMO. Bye, Felicia.
  10. yeah that 3.0 is easily the nicer book. My 2.5 is way nicer than this 2.5. Every time I look at it I scratch my head that its only a 2.5, especially when I see the other 2.5 copies currently on the market (two on ebay auction right now, for ex.)
  11. Sure, if you look at averages. This doesn't mean at all that no one is ever willing to pay more for a particular lower grade book than another particular higher grade copy. Because people do this all the time.
  12. that depends! To the right person? Maybe. Depending on other characteristics of the two books, etc etc etc.
