    I have no idea. None of the above. wait, or is it all of the above I'd be ok with fully detached covers as long as they are in decent shape (i.e. I'm not afraid to touch them lest they fall to dust) and the book is complete and readable.

    Maybe this should be in the newbie forum, sorry if its in the wrong spot. I'm trying the vuescan trial and the results are good so far, but I would like to avoid having to pay 40 bucks for it. Is there a similar quality (or better!) freeware scanning software option? Or even a cheaper option than vuescan standard that produces adequate comic book scanning results?

    Plenty of story lines through roughly 300 are worth reading, as has been shared here already. I only have stuff past that because I'm working on a full run.

    Most books after 101 (the end of the initial monster keys) are either keys themselves or pricey fillers in mid to high grade. Just get them all up to around 150 and you'll be covered, duh. edit: Somehow I missed this thread was three pages long so my answer is clearly irrelevant and duplicative.

    my LCS got a 94 in but it looked like a G+/VG-. Looks really nice for that grade, everything intact, but I'm gonna keep waiting for this grail.
