BLACK-EYED KDIS #4 heading to the printers today. On sale July 20th.
Also, just got in the beautiful new covers from Francesco Francavilla and Michael Gaydos for October's issue #7 issue. Both are breathtaking!
Also, out in October will be a free copy of BEK #1 offered through Diamond for their Halloween Fest (an October version of Free Comic Book Day) printed in glorious black-and-black with a brand NEW cover by series artist Szymon Kudranski. A great way to introduce new fans to the series, so tell all your friends!
Common Bud no teasing , Piiiiiiiccttures.
Seriously so there will be a Halloween variant for #7, direct or store variant?

When the book comes out, this one will heat up. Its a turner variant cover, it'll never be worth less than what you can get it for now. If you are looking for a quick flip it may not be worth getting , but given time its sure to go up.
I think you're right Astoria. I'm not a speculator/flipper. I collect for the love of it, the hunt. The art and stories....
I purchased a set and one color...My wife the same....Personally I think the art is awesome on this one.
Just wondering if Aspen will have a Turner Harley Q variant and an All-Star Batman one as well...Hope so! [/quote
yes and yes pre-order dates yet to be announced but 8/3 for quinn and 8/10 for all star and 8/17 for suicide squad

Does anyone know of the actual print runs for any of the JSC store exclusives?
The typical minimum orders for most store exclusives is 500. So at least 500 for each version.
I would imagine the same applies to convention exclusives.
-J.
JSC artist print runs have been generally 3000 for the color and 1500 on the sketch , but no one know for sure. He did not state numbers as he has done on some books like the Bobba Fett

Rebirth is a phenomenon..... So far every store I've been to have been close to sold out on everything and I got there right when they opened
I had one store owner tell me he hasn't seen this type of demand for a comic in over 25 years
+1
all 4 stores I visit. One owner who is usually very grumpy was beaming last Wednesday. Stores are crazy busy on comic day

Marvel Comics Presents #72 sold
First Weapon X
From Comicbook.com
Rumors suggest that the 20th Century Fox’s third Wolverine movie will be titled Weapon X. The title would share a name with the secret government genetics research organization from the Marvel Universe that removed Logan’s memories and grafted adamantium to his skeleton, turning him into a feral killing machine. The title was also used for a Barry Windsor-Smith story published in Marvel Comics Presents that showed these experiments for the first time.
The report from GameZone also claims that the film’s title, along with the first bit of footage and a poster, will be revealed at San Diego Comic-Con 2016. GameZone learned this information from sources they “assure” us are reliable. Wolverine appeared as Weapon X in X-Men: Apocalypse and the post-credits scene showed the Essex Corporation taking possession of the project’s data, so the title would seem to be a natural follow-up. The film’s villains will be a mad scientist and a corporate executive, both of which would be at home in a film focusing on the shady government organization.
and has a really really really low print run (kdn)

Niobe is far from dead , I have personally talked to Hunger Games star Amandla Stenberg, and there is a lot more to come for this book. .She is personally involved in getting this book on one screen or another. May or may not happen, but its far from a dead issue.

whew looks like I got the last available , hope they ship

Turner Sketch Rebirth variant is trending.
They are limiting it to 1500 copies.
Will it really be 1500?
Will there be more interesting and more limited variants to follow?
Will there be a hot topic recalled variant?
ahhhhhhh the game of speculation continues...............
They raised the price of turner from 9.99 to 14.99...but you can get both covers for $29.99 so that's not too painful. I'll gamble on a couple sets. They probably saw people selling them on ebay and jacked it up a bit. the color cover is 3,000 and the b/w is 1500. Though I don't know how they can presell and still have some left for SDCC. That fat batman howard porter rebirth cover is really bad.
Sketch and combo of the two seems to be gone , color still available

Take with a grain of sand, this is what I am hearing at a LCS , and do not have one in hand, non do I know this to be factual information. Posting as a heads up to check out

On this book The hated....
FYI just got information that all of my Orders for this comic were cancelled. I had purchased 60 copies from Midtown and got refunded for all of them today. Don't know what the deal is on this comic but something is up. I'm sending messages and then refunds to all 20 people who bought these at pre sale. I'm sorry for the inconvenience and won't be relisting any obviously. Sorry and thanks again
