Impossible to find in Los Angeles at the stores, too bad because if people could read this, they would be hooked

They are some form of vampire because of their need to ask to be admited

Preacher is scorching right now, especially the key issues - 1, 2, 13, Alamo arc and final issue 66. Issue 13 first Herr Starr is closing on the $100.00 mark on average and the last issue has been closing between 25.00 and 50.00 consistently on the Bay.
yeah, that's about right, the only issues I couldn't find.
Wow - 66 does seem to have taken a jump. I think I stockpiled 8 copies that are in one of these boxes. Thanks for the heads up.
I think that Divad was the first one to pop the cherry on this one before it was popular to pump n dump. Congrats Divad
Thank you, thank you, I think I popped the cherry on both P66 and W80. (with all credit to discussion here.)
Another one I think to watch is #8 (First John & Christina Custer, of Jody, of Marie L'Angell, of T.C.)

been over a year since Lazarus news popped and not a peep since.
New Arc was supposed to start this month, 6 month breaks are a killer

The fix....... is selling steadily and has moved up recently, especially the #1 second print
Disclaimer: Lots of discussion (pump?) on the spec sites

If a book is "heating up" due to manipulation then it's in the best interest for everyone that cares about this hobby and its future to reveal and share that information. The more people that get burned by manufactured heat, the more people that will walk away from this hobby.
Anyone who truly doesn't care if a book is selling at a premium because of manufactured heat is doing nothing for but taking the money and running. They definitely don't care about the future of the hobby, they are the ones that will walk away from the wreckage of a crash and never look back as they run off to the next money maker.
Well said, Just difficult to determine what is and isn't manufactured. Stating source is key, but jumping all those that are sharing is counterproductive

Are you the CBSI GUY? Tron pump and dumpTron variants are the new Venom variants. (or maybe Venom variants were the new Tron variants )Man these guys buy this stuff up then pump it ! Any one following these guys are C H U M P S !
Its not pump and dump. Its pump and chump....
Anyone with a brain knows those books have been bought by mostly BY PUMPERS before the hyped up web post. I mean this is getting desperate.
Amen brotha !!
I've asked this before and I think I got a response from you as to something like "you can tell the pump & dumpers".
How are you supposed to talk about comics you like and not be considered a pump & dumper?
The Tron variants have sold pretty well for a while depending on the cover. The ASM has been pretty consistently over $50.
So true. Any book that gets talked about get essentially getting 'pumped', I mean look at this thread title. By that logic, anyone whose posted a book in this thread is a pumper no different than CBSI.
Jerome
Pumping and dumping falls under the "you know it when you see it" umbrella. Unfortunately people can't always see it.
Very big difference between casually mentioning a demonstrative sales trend in this thread and posting an article on a website solely dedicated to making money by reselling books. And then using imaginary print numbers to push rarity of said books. And then having links to buy said books under said article.
Are the Tron variants being mentioned because they are actually heating up? A few of those have always sold well (the ASM, the Hulks, the Avengers one with Moon Knight) but are they doing better now? If the argument to buy these books is simply that they've been ignored for the past 5 years and now people are catching on, well that doesn't hold much water.
If you aren't using actual market data to make a case for a book here, then you better have some actual reasons, facts, and evidence to support your position. If your advice is of the "low print, variant cover, book has legs" variety then just please go away.
This thread is about discussing books that are heating up. If its heating up because of a spec site, or someones granny recommended it , who cares , its still heating up. And some are interested in just that.
If that annoys you, simply don't open the thread

We are all good bud, Personally I don't ignore anyone, you bring lots of good stuff to the table, and I am here to get just that.
-
Maaaaan its so hard in here for a pump n dump'er
Actually you just call more attention to books being pumped by people, and make it more difficult and uncomfortable for those that would like to simply bring information here.

ratchet and clank comics seem to be all over the place in terms of prices realized. i was so busy with my real job i never got around to listing the ones i have.
Sets have been pulling $60 for about a year. I think the movie is in theaters now, correct?
Want some fun?
Search this message board a bit.
I started a weekly modern spec thread years ago.
My initial pick was Ratchett & Clank.
Man.
Did I get crucified here & on Bleeding Cool for it.
Hilarious.
Once again my instincts are dead balls on.
Larry I wish you'd go back to making suggestions here more often. Personally I appreciate your input. I understand that there are ballbusters here, but I would suggest that you ignore them.
-
you couldn't give these away until the Rebirth stuff started happening...or I should say $1 boxes were packed full with them.
we have a pump and dump thread for books like these
Its a hot book right now? First appearance of the great 10 and selling at twice cover?

By the way, a local Barnes & Noble has batman/Superman 31 on the shelf. So I would expect that they will be stocking issue #32 shortly. Keeps your eyes peeled! I don't think I can put together sets of the Final Days unless I get lucky at a B&N for that book.
Thanks thats great info

no death no Chinese, see wonder woman #.......... for the rest of the story

Don't have it in hand, but I think its just a lead in story.

By the way, there really is no hope for me at this point. I appreciate the concern though.
I sold a comic yesterday on ebay for $2 + $3.50 s/h. It was a 2015 FCBD Fight Club. I told my wife that I have sunk to a new low and apparently my time is worth pennies an hour as the $3.50 was a low quote after fees and I figured I would absorbed some of that s/h in the item itself. Then I got a lowball and made a $2 counter.
So yeah, that's how I roll!
(I actually had a great weekend flipping a few items from my LCS FCBD sale! I picked up two more Marvel Masterpieces today in fact. But gotta watch how much time I waste with those sales, as opposed to time wasted here with you kind folk. )
as long as your having fun, its a great pastime

Action Comics 52 is limited to 1 each on Midtown and sold out at TFAW....guess I know which title i'll be racing around grabbing tomorrow
