  1. well .... I guess I will be the one to ask,,,, What titles?

I guess it is no fun without knowing, huh? One is TWD, which everyone is likely to be hoarding but still seems a solid bet to me. I'd rather not get into which other title(s) (I ordered one other today but may get a Rebirth title such as All Star Batman or Superman as well.) I kinda want to see if I can get a steady flow on TWD and think I can generate a monthly grading order through the wife and her Pajiba-nut friends. But first I need to see if my skillz are as mad as I think they are before I start making promises to women I meet on the internet.

  2. Let's keep talking about it.

It's not heating up. Just pumping books to sell.

    That. Is. All. :headbang:

If your book isn't "heating up" per se, it seems to be selling well at whatever price you have set. You gave full disclosure that you are involved with this book, and were understandably shameless in your plugging and proud that it has caught on.

So congratulations on a successful launch.

If there was less jaundiced Jealous cynicism on these boards , more people would have told you the same thing.

  3. 108 will fall between 53(Eugene, Rosita, and Abraham) and 92 (Jesus). Ezekiel will be popular but I am not sure his staying power with how the story unfolds. 100 and Negan is going to be the huge winner if AMC can figure out how to be creative on the language and the dialog. He is such a love/hate character, and I think most will really fall for him as the story unfolds. Plus with Jeffery Morgan playing Negan it will only help that character.

The big question for me is issues 127 (Magna) and 132,138 (Alpha depending on which you think will be the 1st) and 135(Lydia). I personally think Alpha is a game changer and with the cover of 156 it could be insane where Kirkman goes with her. Also Lydia so far to me seems like a very interesting character in the comic, but I am not sure what they will do if they get to her on the show.

Yup agree totally with you on Alpha and Negan; they have more staying power if the show sticks to the book. On the other hand 108 has a base now of $35 raw, over $100 for 9.8.I don't think we saw that a year before Negan appeared for his firsts. I could be wrong but the market seems to be with me on this book being big, yes?

12 copies sold at $40-$45. Not bad. (and yes, total transparency, I had a hand in creating this variant.) I still have a little stack of these that I didn't sell already. Ssalefish isn't me, but it's a friend of mine's store. I'm proud of this variant and it's getting some healthy sales on the bay. Best of all, the book is actually really good.

Great book and looking forward to issue #2 but tell your friend to lower his prices. Raping buyers on a new unheard of (by most) series won't gain him many return customers

but..... but.... but.... there's only 150 of these :ohnoez:

sssshhhh.....the pump and dump is in full effect.

Actually I bought one  at those prices, and quantities, there wont be much dumping. And if the book hits. Buy what you like, so they say
