This one nearly slipped under my nose, but I managed to pick one up for near cover.

I mistakenly picked up a few of these thinking they were the 1st new Nova. Happy mistake, now.

Went out today hunting down some PS3 games that have blown up recently (I had a pretty successful day on that end, and once an eBay payout goes through overnight I’m heading back to spend a couple hundred on games tomorrow... that market is almost as crazy as the current comics market, but I digress...) Found this at a local shop that sells just about any collectible media, only $10 1st print and quite hard to find:

Do they actually reject polybagged books? I know to rebag personally, but do they outright refuse to process a comic of it is polybagged? Just curious...

I did some research today and I guess the show is either wrapping or has wrapped up and there are a ton of articles on the finale. I guess this has been a sleeper show? Oddly, the original Image run hasnt done nearly as well as the IDW books on the secondary market from what I’m seeing. Also, looking up keyword “wynonna” on comichron brings up no sales/order data after 2016, so the subsequent spin off series must have minuscule print runs.

Yeah I’ve never run across any of those early trades before, I was glad to pay $10 for it.

Pick ups from this morning... the X Men is a dark blue holo (one of the flatter holos as well) and a newsstand! I may send it in to CGC.

$1 and $2 highlights from today’s local show... I was in and out in less than two hours today, I think that’s a new record for me.

Regular #1s have hit $30 raw, so we’re pretty much here. The variants seem to lag in prosperity, but A cover is a pretty good increase.

Death By Life #1 from yesterday seems to be doing well.

I saw a raw Wolvie 88 that sold for over $100, the other day. Yep. Edit: now that I’m looking, MULTIPLE sales over $100 for a raw copy.

I have/had the Tron variant for that... gonna have to check if it’s in one of my boxes.

I think Jordan Peele’s name was attached to it at some point, like he was interested in making a new series or something. My memory could be failing me, though, but I think that was what it was.

I dropped mine for 80 last year some time (was VF- ish shape), then turn around last week and sell a direct NM for 100.

Black Hammer Directors Cut does okay.

I normally only hit up my main LCS on Wednesday but I’m glad I went to the other two stores as well today.

I looked up 14 earlier and a newsie sold for $75 yesterday but other than that I didn’t see much else.

Yeah I think X Men Unlimited 47 is definitely underrated. That’s another one that I still pick up for a buck or two if it’s in VF or better condition. Got Frison to sign one of my Ant Man 10s a couple years ago at a con. That’s one of my favorites of hers. Also speaking of great Psylocke covers, Uncanny X Force 12 with Fantomex. Looove that one.

Used to pick this up regularly for a buck or two, five or so years ago. Always liked the cover.
