wish I could but got roped into some halloween plans I can't avoid.  You know it's an LA con when they're got a cosplay party with Black Eyed Peas.   I love silver if it's not the 30% over gpa con markup for keys.

Oh they most definitely will all be overpriced, as they are at every con!

Just found this thread. I was on the site the moment the tickets went on sale. Tossed in the queue. Waited forever. 4-day passes sold out. Got Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. A little bummed out it. Also, just to add to my first-world-problems, they wouldn't issue me a press pass either. *sigh*

3 days better than 0 days!

I bought the second tix went on sale and was able to grab a couple 4 day passes but it's crazy how fast ECCC sells out now. Only a couple years ago you could get 4-day passes easily.

I just downloaded Instagram a few months ago.  I guess I should see if there are any comic artist there.  Is there anything to look for?  I am teaching myself some hand lettering and follow some people there for ideas and to practice.

There are TONS of comic artists on Instagram, if not most of them, and very active, too. Just search for their name.

The only social media I'm active on is Instagram, and that seems to have a really large comic community.  It won't take long to get involved with others who have the same interests as you.  (thumbsu

+1 for Instagram. There's a very vibrant and active comic book community there, from all over the country and around the world, all with different tastes. Plus, Instagram is the perfect medium for comic books because it's all photos. You could create a comics-only account to share your obsession with others :)

I don't "think" so because I don't have any larger ones to test. There is a small amount of space on the sides, but if I had to guess I would say 'no' these won't fit larger books like Golden age.

Thanks. Do the top drawers feel fairly sturdy when you pull them out completely with a full drawer of slabs?

  6. Here's my haul :)

Also a pic of @G.A.tor's booth and another dealer booth, his name was Gene but I don't remember the name of the booth.

This was my first time attending Baltimore Comic Con (and visiting the city) and I had an amazing time. I'm on the west coast so I see the same dealers up and down the coast at all the shows, so it was awesome seeing so many dealers I've never seen before. And there are actually a lot of comics at this show, compared to a lot of other cons. Artist Alley was top notch as well. I think I'll be making the trip from San Francisco to Baltimore again next year.
