No just that the Vol 2 Valiant stuff is not desirable unless Armorines #4. Complete-ists will look for those books but they are far off the radar for others. Speculators will jump on them because they are "rare".

Probably the same seller I got my Shadowman #1 and 2 from, 2 books at least bagged/boarded, in a priority envelope. And they made it! I take pictures of things that I open, and I take video of things that I box up should I ever need to make buyer/seller protection. I advise you all to do the same because had the Shadowmans arrived damaged, they would have been free.

Not if they are packed correctly. Which I am going to assume they aren't. A tight cardboard "sandwich" will restrict lateral movement in the bag. That's how I do it (& I use SA-sized bags & boards) and I think that's how everyone should pack their comics. Of course, to prove me wrong, I just got an eBay win in today, comic was in a B&B, and then slid into a photo/document mailer. That's it. Somehow, it arrived damage-free, but I consider such things to be the exception, not the rule. -slym Photo Mailer. Simple, Introduce something popular and financially out of reach at the time. Take yourself out of the hobby for 20 years, then drop something in your hands that makes them think about the things that you had not had an opportunity to read/collect when they were younger, you will search for the nostalgia. I am a Transformers collector. This is all too true for me because I stopped reading comics for almost 20 years and was introduced to Modern Transformers Comics by IDW. This caused me to break out my collection, and started hitting eBay and realizing the stuff that was "rare" as a kid was only that way because I had no internet. I sold a majority of my Keys....NM 98, ASM 298 361-363 Key X-books...ect ect....because I had that 90's collection, the rest of it was Dollar Fodder. I am guilty with Valiant too, I had a lot of Valiant books I dumped when I opened up my longboxes after years, and sold them on eBay. (I got $20.00 for a Turok Lot because it had a VVSS #1!!!! ) Harbinger was the one book I was never able to get my hands on (especially with coupons and #4 was $100 at my LCS in 92), and I managed to score #1 for $5.00 with coupon at my LCS now. The only key valiant books not in my collection are a X-O 1 and 4. You never can tell when demand will arise on a book that was once hot/ or maybe even not at all. Collect what you like and the rest should work itself out. Can't collect em all.

Problems come right back to the poor ink used by marvel. It rubs off onto the books beneath it in transport from Diamond. Silver bags allow too much movement and then it scrapes off onto the board. I prefer mylites and full backs, I usually reserve those for my variants. The Fett I sold is getting a Mylite for it's delivery to the new owner because that is how I roll.

a lcs that went to C2E2 had a box of Fett's he picked up. Sadly it looks like the bad Marvel ink on the back cover will scrape off to the boards like all other Marvel books. You have to pull out the board, drop the book on top and slide it all in at once. I highly doubt JTC and his wife slowly, and carefully packaged the raw copies. And like someone else mentioned, they are on Silver age size bags and boards which means they will all likely be damaged in shipping. FML....pissed about that. Someone really needs to get on Marvels case about the paper/ink quality. At least DC books have that thick, glossy cover that shows all imperfections.

I have 2 combo packs coming thanks to my LCS ordering 5 (IIRC), and 1 buyer failed to pay for my other #40 1:25 variant. So It looks like I will have some available after the non-paid case closes on 5/2.

Image was just for pictures. We all knew that going in.... New Valiant is written very well, and editorial staff is keeping continuity as part of their top priority. Cannot say the same for other publishers.

This is like Guardians Of the Galaxy #2 1:200 Joe Mad cover...desirable, even for non Guardians collectors. Just a good artwork Variant, and being the rarest of all the Uncanny Inhuman #0's it will only go up! The 2 1:50 covers deserve some love too. My LCS cannot order enough of Inhuman titles to get the variants most of the time, so I am left to outside sources. But can get me 4 Batman 1:25's a month. I do have a pretty sick run of Inhuman Variants though, the #1 Medusa covers, especially the 1:75 and 1:100's are such awesome looking covers! The Ramos 1:50 was too expensive for me to get vs. the better J. Scott Campbell and Milo Minara covers. Love the whole run on Inhuman though, the writing isn't that bad for Marvel. What makes the uncanny inhumans #0 a book a key to watch? first appearance ? Spoilers! Politics, this is the reason why Bendis said he was not on board to help Marvel re-write (kinda) the X-Men into being Inhuman descendants, and how Marvel was circumventing the "whole Fox has a grip on the word Mutant, how can we get around that and build our Cinematic Universe without Paying them for usage of the word. .....Horrible show and owner of the word MUTANT. So anyway, look at the last page of Uncanny Inhumans #0, and you will see the future teaser clearly showing . Let's see what happens with Secret Wars and the All New X-Men's original 5 either staying or going.

Uncanny Inhumans #0 1:100 Variant is disappearing from eBay, and the only buy it now just DOUBLED their asking price to $200.00. Shame I missed out at MTC, who had this available for $52! I did nab both 1:50's and the 1:100 today, 3 best covers for sure! Keep an eye on this book, likely to be very key to Marvel going forward. Also, I have sold 2 Batman 40 1;25's. 1 Fett, Marvel Now Point 1 #1, having a good eBay week!
